You can always get the Exers' scarf...Is it an automatic renewal or do we have to reapply each year? I hope they have a scarf in the pack. My tiger's scarf looks like it may be packed away early this year...
I wonder if the other clubs might have an opinion on that?Bombers making the best of a bad situation they can pay players through settlement and it doesn't affect salary cap
Not sure if its as straightforward as it looks. If the insurers are the ones paying out for the CAS challenge, and it is thrown out as expected, would think the insurers would then have some grounds to push back. And insurance companies are good at that.
Ah, as if it needed to get any more complicated.Different insurance policy though, and maybe different company.
So why would the insurance company fork out $500 000 to appeal something unless it saved them money elsewhere?Different insurance policy though, and maybe different company.
This has salary cap loop hole all over it!!!
He did accept responsibility. He said he didn't do enough to stop it. What more do you want?Weak as piss. Hasn't accepted responsibility. He maybe could have / should have / may be you know / would have been good if he'd paid more attention. ******.
Not appeallingHe did accept responsibility. He said he didn't do enough to stop it. What more do you want?
He had to appeal to stop ASADA's flagrant disregard for process. Not appealling
He had to appeal to stop ASADA's flagrant disregard for process.
He has every right to appeal if he believes he is not guilty of a doping offence.....He had to appeal to stop ASADA's flagrant disregard for process.
What the **** did you just ******* say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the **** out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my ******* words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, goose. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re ******* dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your ******* tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re ******* dead, kiddo.
The difference is that Hird was obviously appealing against poor process. But in the case of ASADA/WADA, they just didn't like the judgement and started complaining to CAS. Totally different scenarios. So WADA/ASADA had a flagrant disregard for due process by appealing?????.
Is this not a bit hypocritical than appealing himself?
Ummm, I'm sure I saw a headline (no didn't read the article) that Heppel is staying at Essendon.
Surprised not to see Dons people slapping us around the face and head with it.

Doesn't all insurance lead back to one or two massive insurers such as Lloyds?Different insurance policy though, and maybe different company.
