YEP....Can'y agree more with this thread as i've had an absolute gut full of these tourists....

Was so looking forward to seeing this tour with Tendulka, Laxman and Kumble and it has all gone 2 shite!!!

To wake up this morning and hear that Harbajan's ban had been lifted just makes my blood boil and shows how weak ICC are.

India always want someone to blame when things dont go there way, such as the last World Cup or even as far back as 1960 Olympics when they got silver in Hockey, not a pretty sight apparently!!!

Point is that Ponting and the Aussie cricket team have done nothing wrong and if showing some emotion after a close and enthralling match is a crime then all football teams should be sighted after a GF!!!

The media have destroyed this and are totally responsible for how things have gotten out of hand and blown out of porportion.......The sooner we get rid of CH9 and T.Greig and bring back the ABC the better...not that it makes much difference but i listen to the ABC rather then watch 9 anyway

If you were looking forward to watching Gavasker play, I think you are a couple of years late.

And secondly they haven't lifted his ban, they are just allowing him to play until the appeal is heard. He may still in fact get rubbed out, but he wont serve the ban against us more than likely.

Do I agree with this, hell no. Why don't they hold the hearing before the Perth test, dismiss the protest and tell him he has 3 games?

If they wanna go home, let 'em

I'll not reply to your childish remarks regarding Healy, as I can only deal with so much immature dribble at one time. Telling the Indians to f*** off, or to pack their bags, etc. Does NOT equal racism. Sure, there could be racial implications behind anyone's post, but who are you to decide?

You play the race card quicker than most people on this forum, because it's the easiest thing to do. You're weak, and rely on cheap, unproven accusations to get your point across.

Who am I to decide? Lets go with the numbers shall we? Have a look at the number of posts that start with this whole "p off" and "f off you Indians"? Now lets say your an Indian by birth and live in this country and you keep seeing your native country being brought up with absolutely no respect from fellow posters. A couple of Indian friends of mine read the earlier posts and the first thing they said was "if they feel so passionately about a sporting team, they probably feel the same way about our community." Fair point when you see f offs being thrown around.

I was born in Australia (my parents are immigrants) and if I saw my country as a sporting nation being told to f off and p off I would be very offended. Thats what this is about - how people interpret it. After all, isnt that what the monkey debate is about? Offensive to Symonds so its wrong - end of story.

So telling a national touring team to f off or p off might be just a couple of words that get thrown around by disgruntled posters but it just inflames the situation.

PI$$ OFF PHIL.

Oops, sorry to all the other Phil's out there that i may have offended.

Some people on here need to go and get their dictionary and find out the meaning of racism before accusing others of it.

I have friends who are Indian, i have work colleagues who are Indian, yet I hate the Indian cricket team and echo the thoughts of the first few posters on this thread. I have expressed this to my friends of that origin... do they think i'm racist? Not at all! In fact, they know exactly where i'm coming from, so all those on here accusing others of racism for having an opinion, bugger off i say.

Maybe i'm a bit too simplistic and old-school about this, but when you're in someone else's house, you show respect and you behave yourself. They are visitors to this country, and they carry on like they own the place and can carry on without an ounce of class.

Certain facts about this case are being blown out of proportion, and certain facts are being hidden, all to promote one side of the story.

Lets start with Anil Kumble, who up until the other day, i respected immensely. He then gets in front of a press conference, criticises how we play the game and how our captain captains our side. Last time i checked, he has been the Indian captain for about five minutes, although he has been around cricket a long time, he is hardly the one that should be criticising captaincy styles.

I could go on and on, but hey, everyone has already done that. I'm glad Harbajhan is playing... especially over at the WACA... lets hope the selectors do a job and pick Shaun Tait, and he gets to bowl at the poor excuse for a man.

In part i agree with you, it doesn't help the situation.

However, a few posters saying a few naughty words directed at a sporting team, or a mass of people in the street burning effigies of our players and umpires. What do you consider worse? Should i take this literally and say that, that is how all Indian people feel about me? If i was to go over to Calcutta and they found out i was Australian, they'd burn me or an effigy of me? Of course not! Well i should hope not anyway!

Lets not stretch this too far now... The passion brought out by a sporting team's behaviour doesn't necessarily reflect on the nationality as a whole. I know that, you know that.

Yeah I didnt consider that so valid point. I think on a personal level if you have a relationship with an Indian mate you can get away with saying things face to face because you know them. On these forums you dont know how to take it.

There should be a press ban against India, or a ban against them for the rest of the tour because they've brought the game into disrepute and blackmailed the ICC into getting their way.

what a crock of shit mate they are saying what they feel they got every right to the aussie team these days a bunch of arrogant arseholes who need to be put back in their place. If punter was to go make a complaint nobody would say shit just agree with him.

Uhhh...what?

Telling anyone or any team to ***** off and f**k off is just uneducated. Fair enough you dont agree with what the Indians way of dealing with things and rightly so but there are other ways of communicating your thoughts.

So from my one post you can tell my level of education?
Wow, you're good!!
