Than your looking at somebody who won't have played a game of footy for 18 months. Not a good sign our main forward is injury prone and can't seem to have any luck getting consistently on the park. Unlucky or not he has missed quite a bit of footy and if it's worst case scenario than good luck getting him back to any sort of reasonable form in 2024. 2 and half years of development gone. Still think we get him playing ASAP as long as there are no setbacks and he gets the all clear to return.
He played 14 games in 2021 and 15 in 2022.

He won’t have missed 2 1/2 years of development if he doesn’t get on the park this year.

Burge said that Josh Morris will return to contact training in about 4 weeks. Perhaps his season isn't a write-off just yet.

Lewis tracking well.
Jiath, Breust, Ramsden, MacKenzie, Stephens and Serong all available for the practice match on Thursday.

Is this just a matter-of-fact statement or does it read slightly ominous?

Reading that makes me think he'll likely won't be available for the first 8 weeks of the season.
I think Sam is leaving wriggle room.

With every session that Lewis does a heap of running they need to see how his knee pulls up and if he gets any issues at all they’ll scale him back again.

Is Serong all good now?

So not playing round 1 we have only Morris (Shoulder), Lewis (Knee) ruled out?

What about Scrimshaw (quad), Morrison(hamstring), Serong(ankle), Stephens (concussion)?
