They're probably talented enough, and healthy enough to win it anyway. But this sort of crap does show a lack of hunger.
more like complacency ... even arrogance

and arrogance is hard to fathom in a club that had such a long record of disappointment and failure to live up to expectationsmore like complacency ... even arrogance
I remember absolutely nothing of the sort.a club that had such a long record of disappointment and failure to live up to expectations

UPDATE: Banned Dee's apology after boozy 'scuffle' with teammate
Steven May and Jake Melksham were involved in a scuffle in Prahran on Sunday nightwww.afl.com.au
You mean premiership teams can lose games without an afl led umpiring conspiracy to stifle your game plan?
100% this. Such a stain club.more like complacency ... even arrogance
wowzersSome teammate May seems to come across as here
Not fully sure what be you're saying, but Melbourne doesn't win the premiership last year without Steven May.May is important, but could have had a king brother for the pick…then got a KPD instead of Benny brown
Still they won a flag
I'd imagine they were both pretty pissed and banter was going on between them, maybe a bit of back and forth all night and there was something that pushed it a bit far for one of them, then it escalates. Alcohol has a knack of exacerbating things that might otherwise be laughed off or have some stern words then it's over. Some teammate May seems to come across as here
Its the forward line that is the issue at the moment, but it was also an issue for a lot of last year as wellYeah I’m not one of those.
The actual May incident whilst not a good optic can still be smoothed over very quickly within the club.
The bigger issues that need to be sorted out are:
- fix the forward line…it is problem this season irrespective of their wins
- fix the attitude of the players. There were a number of incidents during the Swans game that were not aligned to last years team first ethos. Who was that bloke who lined up for goal from 60 out? Was that Petracca? I may be wrong but whoever it was, that would not have happened last year. IMO.
If that person deliberately got those plates then kudos to them lolNot going to lie, I had a proper chuckle when I saw this license plate on the way home from work this afternoon.

They got them in 2010, that’s all they wanted for the past decade. If that person deliberately got those plates then kudos to them lol
Is this the first season ever where WCE have been out-attended by little bro Freo? For all the chest-beating about Melbourne's lack of crowds in here and other threads (my favourite of which has come from St Kilda and The Western fans):

If you plot that as a ratio against number of members, Melbourne would be right up the top.For all the chest-beating about Melbourne's lack of crowds in here and other threads (my favourite of which has come from St Kilda and The Western fans):

Ironic that the bloke in this photo also had a crack at the fans..For all the chest-beating about Melbourne's lack of crowds in here and other threads (my favourite of which has come from St Kilda and The Western fans):

Except those numbers don’t include Rd 12 home games. It’s wrong, although Melbourne only reduce slightly with 32k on Saturday, Freo increase a bit with 47k at home. For all the chest-beating about Melbourne's lack of crowds in here and other threads (my favourite of which has come from St Kilda and The Western fans):
