You mean premiership teams can lose games without an afl led umpiring conspiracy to stifle your game plan?

Yeah I’m not one of those.

The actual May incident whilst not a good optic can still be smoothed over very quickly within the club.

The bigger issues that need to be sorted out are:

  • fix the forward line…it is problem this season irrespective of their wins
  • fix the attitude of the players. There were a number of incidents during the Swans game that were not aligned to last years team first ethos. Who was that bloke who lined up for goal from 60 out? Was that Petracca? I may be wrong but whoever it was, that would not have happened last year. IMO.

Some teammate May seems to come across as here😮

May is important, but could have had a king brother for the pick…then got a KPD instead of Benny brown

Still they won a flag
Not fully sure what be you're saying, but Melbourne doesn't win the premiership last year without Steven May.

I'd imagine they were both pretty pissed and banter was going on between them, maybe a bit of back and forth all night and there was something that pushed it a bit far for one of them, then it escalates. Alcohol has a knack of exacerbating things that might otherwise be laughed off or have some stern words then it's over.

Its the forward line that is the issue at the moment, but it was also an issue for a lot of last year as well

For all the chest-beating about Melbourne's lack of crowds in here and other threads (my favourite of which has come from St Kilda and The Western™️ fans):

If you plot that as a ratio against number of members, Melbourne would be right up the top.

It’s because Melbourne’s the premier and apparently everyone should flock to watch them.

Except those numbers don’t include Rd 12 home games. It’s wrong, although Melbourne only reduce slightly with 32k on Saturday, Freo increase a bit with 47k at home.
