I just had a peek. It's too precious. They're now sifting through all recent(ish) trades they've had with us and squabbling over who "won" them.

Haha in fairness it's basically one moron ABAB vs the rest. The rest have come round to the realism of each trade. ABAB legit thinks everything has been fine.

Thinks they were even in the Menzel trade.
Thinks Gibbs was only 1 first rounder.
Heck, thinks they got more for Lever than they paid for Gibbs (objectively untrue)

Even the other Crows supporters are sick of him lol

I believe that the club were unable to see itself as a bottom team all those years and as a result never did draft that way. Its fairly understandable when you think about it. It still thought of itself as a powerhouse that has been unlucky and wronged by the system. It was only with the strategy of rebuild and the coming of Bolts that this attitude began to change and some humble pie was swallowed.

Absolute shemozal of a “club” If I was an Adelaide supporter I’d want the AFL to intervene and open the club up a bit to stop them closing ranks all the time and having to have zero real accountability. The way they undertake "reviews" there i'd say this is actually more likely than their supporters would like to think

I guess it's the sport of wanting to be seen to come out as a winner, but it really doesn't make sense in this situation as the measuring tape is different on both sides of the equation.
The numbers may suggest we won but who knows and for practical matters, who cares.....or at least who should care?

The CFC got what they wanted on face value - A player they rated at #6 in a strong draft along with a pick #8 the following year, against a pick #3 in 2019 that may well end up being a #4 in a not so good year.

Adelaide can only assess things on - Who would have we taken at #19 in 2018 and what may have we achieved with #8 in 2019, against what we achieved with the CFC pick in 2019?

Way too many variables to make an honest assessment, unless all the facts come to hand...and they won't.
