i was holding my last trade to do an upgrade, but a heap of injuries meant i had to trade out Milburn a few weeks ago.

Seeing as i already had most of the most expensive backmen, i had to do a like-for-like, which meant i have no trades left and $235,000 in the bank.

Now that's what you call a waste!!

(mind you, i have made the GF and only lost twice for the year, so it hasn't hurt too badly!)

Due to downgrading Shaw last week in order to make an upgrade last week, I freed up a heap of cash.

Now that Pav is likely to miss, that cash will not be needed (due to no one being a higher price than Pav) and therefore I will finish with $280,000 in the cap

TBH it sounds like you've been just as wasteful, if not moreso.

I dunno how that is possible. I've utilised every cent...if you classify that as wasteful, the go ahead

So, Lucas to ........who?

That one has me total clueless...no idea what you're on about.

This board has a bit of a hostile vibe about it...

What the spud and I were getting at is that you have one trade left and no money to upgrade with it, which is a bit of a waste of a trade. If your team is perfectly settled than it isn't as important, but if you need to upgrade someone whose price has dipped, having no money left over is hardly ideal.

I was suggesting that wasting a trade is worse than wasting 90k of the salary cap, it all just comes down to whether or not you still have upgrades to do. No hostility however :).

What was spud referring to Lucas for?
