Vic How would you rate Daniel Andrews' performance as Victorian Premier?

Maybe the first policy I’ve ever seen from Andrews I agree with, but good to see they are opposed to pill testing.

Why listen to experts and evidence, hey?

Evidence from expert also is that pill testing though legitimises and encourages drug use
Nobody is going to take a hooky pill if they know it might kill them. It may legitimise drug use to a degree but that's got to be a better outcome than bodies in bags surely?

eVEN IF PIlls are clean in testing terms there is no knowledge that it won't have an adverse affect on someone which can also result in their harm. Hence the same adverse result could be achieved.

I mean the same thing can happen from prescription medications. Not really an argument.

The difference is though that there is a lot more testing and rules around prescription medications though. There are also actual examples of experts showing the issues with pill testing and also explaining why it is not as successful or great as everyone saying it is.

Or they could not take drugs...

What happens if they test them, no issues then people still die? In modern society, they'll probably sue the government...

There will always be limitations with pill testing. Everyone is going to have a different reaction to any medication or drug regardless of how rigorously tested it is or it's legality. But it's ridiculous that we aren't at least having a trial program to see the results.

Burying our heads in the sand doesn't work.

The Andrews government has presided over coal power stations being closed down and not replaced - but now they are concerned about energy reliability. You couldn't make it up.

Daniel Andrews has been leading labor since 2014. Not Bill Shorten. He is the biggest threat to the right today and he's doing a great job. Safe Schools for example was brilliant.

My biggest hope is he builds as much as he can, and leaves no money for the next government whatever decade they finally return to power.

Most would argue electricity has been unreliable since the 90's. Effectively the day Kennett sold it into private hands.

The private owners has presided over coal stations being closed.

Kennett presided over their sale.

I thought you conservative types were all about market forces, well this is the market at work.

Give em hell, boys.

What can they do in all honesty. A group of anti-democratic conservative rebels that won't accept the will and political sentiments of the Victorian people.

Reminds me a lot of the current brexit situation. Those remainers are equally as anti-democratic as victorian conservatives. These kennet lite dickheads should respect the will of the people and wait until they're in office

We are talking about public sector unions here.

The Victorian Renewable Energy Target is large scale government interference in the market. It heavily subsidises renewables and places financial pressure on coal fired generators in Victoria.

Debt and deficit.

Who gives a ****? When you're building so much infrastructure of course the budget will fluctuate. People who think a government budget is the equivalent of a household budget are cancer.

Beats the hell out of the federal government racking up more debt then we’ve ever had but with absolutely zilch to show for it.
