I know Tigers fans have had it tough, but Foley over Gibbs?

I don't understand why people don't rate Walker. He isn't a natural footballer like Gibbs or Murphy, but he has all the attributes that could make him into a Kouta type. The thing I love about Walker is his pace, versatility and athletism. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he ended up being a better footballer than both Gibbs and Murphy. Walker has the ability to take the big grab and become a real match winner.

I would've thought Foley would have been about Ninthmond's best last season however still don't think he has the upside and package like either Walker, Murphy or let alone Gibbs (who IMO will be in the top 5 players in the league within 3 years).....

In a year or two, even Richmond will be saying Gibbs is better than Foley. Foley has had one good year and they are calling him a champion. Tell him to put together a couple of good seasons and i might think about him being good.

If Foley was on your list he would be a walk up start to be in the guts at the bounce in round 1 alongside Judd and Stephens.

Potential is one thing but Foley is actually playing better football than the 3 mentioned.

I would agree that Foley would be in the mid rotation for us.

But the proposition was who would you want on your list, now, if there was a draft. I cant believe someone would pick Foley over Gibbs on that basis.

Well, I personally never saw it coming.

Gibbs' work around the ball so far this year makes Foley look like the cheap touch panzy that he is. In the long run, Gibbs will be a MUCH better player, and i'd contest that he already is.

Foley has had 1 good year, a pretty damn good year i must admit, but still only 1. i'll be interested to see if he can back it up this year, and if he can id probably take him over walker, but who knows walker seems a late developer, and could have the year foley had last year (or even better) in 08. as for murphy and gibbs youd have to take them on potential, we havent seen even close to the best of these two yet, although murph did nearly win teh rising star from half a season
