Here is an idea Kouta man - how about we drop you
He definitly was a mix of good and bad but got to love his character/confidence to just keep giving

I wasn't quite going to start a thread but I agree he needs a spell in the Ants to redifine his skills. His kicking and general sloppy defence was a huge factor why Essendon went into quarter time some 6 goals in front. He is turning the ball over way too many times for a back pocketer whose skills need to be spot on.
I admire Carrazzo and certainly respect him, but at the moment he is just paddling. He isn't damaging enough to play on the ball and today showed again he is struggling as a permanent BP.

Wasn't his best day today, but I thought after a very poor and undisciplined first half he came back well in the second half.
Still, trying to mark in defense when he should be going the spoil, and low-percentage poor kicks really, really hurt.
Needs to really work on his footy if he wants to move forward. If he wants to make a niche as a backman, he has to learn to shut down his opponent and play tight, and play the percentages.

i say it every week whether we win or lose. Go watch the game you idiot.Every week he does too many mistakes. Hes a good player, and dropping him may make a better player.

It's never his day I have been saying for a long long time that he needs to go. Players like him tend to drag down the team. But the op wont find too many people on here supporting him, but hey I do, Carrazzo has to go.

Quality terminology, you must be so proud.
Personally I don`t care how poorly a player may perform, he doesn`t deserve to be vilified like that.
Can I suggest if you are so outraged at his efforts today that you go down to training and pass on your sentiments to his face? (In particular the bit I have bolded).

We can't just blame him. Geez, what about Murphy, disposal by foot was appalling. Absolutely appalling. Carrazzo came back after a poor first half. In general, the disposal was shite. No use just blaming one player for our loss, Fevola was fantastic and he's the only one I'll realy give massive praise to.

How about Nick Stevens and Marc Murphy. Both had terrible efficiency with their kicking today. And Judd was nowhere near his best after that head clash with Lloyd. Very hard to single out Carrazzo here.

Still he kept running all day and battled back into the game.
Still a much better option than some of the people i'm sure you'll say should be playing.

I don't think carrots' kicking was any worse than marc murphys.
Murph is my fav player and was recruited as being a good kick but what was going on 2day.

What about gibbs. Just about the best game i have seen from him.

This guy has always been able to find plenty of it. On his day- sensational. On an off day, the clanger king. Gave us a half of each today. If only he could stop butchering it....... damn

Thats not going to get him dropped..... is it? One week in the ants is what he needs. Dal santo avg is 24 touches and got dropped. Carrazo gets alot of the ball, but it would be better if he doesnt! Why doesnt he get tagged? becuase the our opponents know hes not damaging and in fact helps them out!

But he's a different player to Carrazzo.
You might swap Jackson for Bentick but not Carrazzo.

Seriously, I must have been watching a different game to everyone else. I would easily have Carrazzo amongst our best today.
He had a shocking first quarter, but made up for it. Take a look at his pass to Stevens on the boundary line in the last if you think he can't kick.

Fisher's kicking today was 100x worse.
They are different because Carrots plays in defence whereas Jackson is a natural wingman.

Well, your quibble is with the coach and the match committee then isn`t it? Why not give them a spray as well?
I made the same point to another poster slagging off at one of our players and am yet to receive a reply.
It is weak as water to sit behind a keyboard and call one of our players what you did. I repeat the challenge - go down to training and say it to his face, show the courage of your convictions.
Well I am convinced you didnt watch the game and just looked at the Stats. saw Carrots had 27 touches and said gee he was one of our best.
He did lift late, but his negatives far outweighed his few positives, plus he gave away far too many stupid free kicks
