The Pies are arrogant. Didak thinks he's a soccer player.
we have some guys playing for their careers, so they're gonna be hungry.

You watch we're going to see the Carlton we know and love, some oof the boys are going to shows their true colours and abilities tomorrow.

I also expect to see an awesome display of skills. Carrots, AJ, Walks, Gibbs are all gonna hit targets.

Look how bloody rubbish the Bummer were two weeks ago and now they smashed the Saints WITH Reiwolt!

Ratts will have a genius move tomorrow and will ousmart Malthouse and rev the boys up for a famous victory!

I'm also expeting Hendo and Fish to kick a bag each.:D

CAARNA BLUES!

The Bombers are still rubbish. St Kilda has the most overrated forward line in the AFL. Roo is terribly overrated and he was essentially a more selfish Mooney BEFORE he got injured. Letting Fletcher run off a 1st gamer was just stupid and selfish by St Nick and he should be ashamed. Poor leadership at its finest.

Whether we win or not tomorrow has virtually nothing to do with Ratts coaching. Let alone a genius move. Our team needs to work hard and back each other up including Judd.

Collingwood has mediocre players but they bust their asses on the field and work hard for each other. A cohesive team trying their guts out across 4 quarters tends to beat a group of individuals which is how we have been playing lately.

im with you
this sounds weird but over the last few years i sometimes get 'this feeling' before a match that we wil just 'click' and win it. so far with this feeling im 11-0, my last feeling been against the cats earlier this year. thought we were gunna come out to play the big boys and we did
i have this feeling about tomorrow, im quietly, but very confident we will cause a major upset tomorrow :)
of course on paper we should get smashed but footy is played on grass, if it were played on paper we wouldnt have those 2 draws or most of our wins this year (no one picked up to make the 8 or be anywhere near it)

Collingwood by between six and ten goals. Have a feeling the final score will flatter our boys just like the final score did in the game for St. Kilda tonight.

What's worse is that we play the Scum next week after that performance.

Not looking good. Only chance we have is if we take a verse out of Hawthorn's song tomorrow - all for one and and one for all. That's the way Collingwood play, better than anyone in the comp.

No doubt we have more talent than the Pies but they don't put it into one complete effort the way that they do. One big massive group effort will typically beat six or seven A+ performances with the others standing around watching the ball all day.

Ohhh shiiiit, I wish you didn't create this thread hehe, I really can't see us beating the Pies, let alone smashing them, so many things have to go right for us and we need a contribution from every1, which we have not been getting for 6 weeks now and is really disappointing, we might have won last week but we are strugling to play as a team and too many players go missing too often

I really do hate the filth, but tomoz is a true test of where our club is at, yes they have a pretty large edge in terms of experience but we really need to take it up to them, as I have said numerous times I don't mind going down but as long as it's not without a fight, cos if it gets ugly tomoz, it will be even uglier next Fri night when we face another bunch of scum that has the wood over us something shocking

Hate to say it but the Pies are playing pretty good football atm. We''ll need to play hard committed footy from the first bounce if we are to have any chance of getting close to them.

I'm praying its a wet day.

Will negate somewhat the threat from their tall forwards while at the same time giving us a convinient excuse for our poor skills.

If we get within 30 points of them we'll have probably put in a half decent performance.

LOL, there's no certainties, but I'd be amazed if you get to 12-0

Full respect to the Blues, but atm our form is undisputed!

The thing is with our supporters we seem to make threads and statements like this just in hope that we could upset you's or at least making it a contest, cos we are really struggling atm and realistically would take a special effort for us to get close or maybe win

 Seriously, this has got to be a joke. We could let one of their tall forwards run free all day and the best result would be he kicks 8.22. Actually, we probably should give that a shot!

Bad conditions favour the harder working team. As much as we all hate to admit it, that's Collingwood based on recent history.

i'll settle for being competitive, even that exceeds some pie supporter expectations.

I'm a bit with you but would add at least don't let them get 5 in front at qtr time.

This is the last team in the league to try to play catch up footy.

If they're 5 in front at qt time might just go to the golf course, I've had all the masochistic moments I need for this year

I am only trying to think positive. I you think positive you feel positve and postive things happen, just by thinking positive and saying postive things people like you more and you feel happier!:D

If you think negative everyone hate you for being negative and spoling situation, only the positive survive! Negative just have depression and end up on drgs or killing themselves and have no friends. :(

So I am pushing out positve vibrations to Ratts and the team to think positve and they will beat someteam who is probably thinking just as positive as we think positve. Carlton have the opportunity to win today, so if they think positive the opportunity is there for them to smash the Pies! It goes the other way too, but we have to think MORE positve to domnate them with our positivity! Then they will let us win for beng so positve, playing positve footy, every play does their job and win will win!! :thumbsu:

Win lose or draw, you think positve you will always WIN!

I think Carlton will win!

Came in here to laugh at this thread... but instead, it just made me excited about the game. There is nothing wrong with a bit of banter like this, and when you love your team as much as this kid seems to... why not be fired up?

(Pies by 48)

Not confident myself. The Pies are playing brilliant footy and have been all season. Doesn't help that we tend to fall apart under pressure and nobody applies it better than the Filth. Will be very tough to beat.

Here's hoping, though...

I can remember going to Waverley being 2nd on the ladder and the pies in the bottom 4 and the Daicos kicked a bag 1 of them a torp outside fifty and losing the game by 5 goals...

These games can go either way as even our pie mates know...

I wish i could share your optimism. On average there is at least 2 upsets a round, Essendon already have the first one... Maybe we could be the second team to upset?

Not confident though, Pies by 30. Compete Blue boys!

I can feel a good old-fashioned belting coming our way.

The Pies are arguably going better than anyone right now, and the only sides we've beaten in the last 2 months are Bris and WCE, who are terrible but nonetheless led us at half time.

Our only cause for any optimism at all is the fact that we occasionally lift our standard against the better sides.

I'll be content if we can just hit most of our targets today. That will be an improvement.

Roo is terribly overrated and he was essentially a more selfish Mooney BEFORE he got injured.

Roo is a best forward in the comp. Before his injury only Ablett was at his level as a footballer.

He isn't at his best yet but he'll be back by the finals.

I fully expect us to get thrashed today.
