Hmm, have no memory of it being on ANZAC day (though I was only 10). When we hit the front, a father hugged his son so hard they both almost tumbled from the 2nd level of the Ponsford........ I miss those wooden bench seats.

Yep, was Anzac Day '92.

Melbourne kicked the first goal of the last quarter to lead by 47 points, before we kicked eight goals. (Plus 2 points - I vaguly remember one of the points was a set shot from 30 odd metres and when me missed it I thought we had blown it.)

Gavin Wanganeen (18 at the time) kicked the winning goal from 50m. Wanganeen was never the longest of kicks so was right on the limit of his kicking distance.

Salmon kicked 7 goals for the day, but cant remember how many of those were in the last quarter.

I was there in 2004 when Lloyd became a leader.

It was against Port Adelaide (I don't think they lost another game after this one).

I love the term 'power projection'. Lloyd did just that. He controlled the forward 50 obviously, but became tired of that and simply took over the game. He made one MASSIVE hip and shoulder mid air against one of the Cornes, and soon after had a set shot for goal. The sound was incredible, the crowd chanted "Lloydy! Lloydy!". I still think this is the game, far past our dominant era, when Lloyd recognised his ability to control the entire game.

I was at pretty much all the games mentioned bar the 200 GF.. but i was also at Sheedy and Hirds last game over at Subiaco to witness one S.Lucas go nuts in the last qtr!! Pity we didnt end up wining

'98? Blues up by 25 five minutes into the last on a Sunday arvo at the 'G. Che C C has a blinder . We keep coming at em. Lucas doesn't get a touch until were 5 points behind. Silvagni tries to kick deep under the pump in the backline. Dean Rice is flat footed and Scotty's left foot goes bang from 55 and the footy gets banged back over his head and everyone elses for that matter to put the Mighty Bombers in front and my goodness we were happy , oh yes Good times for the black and red .:)

Was there when

- Morcroft took that spectacular mark againts the Bulldogs (that mark ended his career :( )
- Zaharakis goal on ANZAC Day 09 (loudest roar i ever heard)
- When Hird hugged that guy in the crowd
- Ending St.Kilda's winning streak
- The Brad Zwell bump by Llyod
- Line in the sand match 04 againt's Hawks (was sitting 2 rows back from the fence where the brawl happend and then gave them a belting on the scoreboard)

i can go on

If you were there for all those moments then you have done very very well.

I still believe Moorcroft's mark was the greatest of all time. Easily. Is not matched.

Far out, I had almost forgotten about that game, I would have been around 12
and the one memory that stands out is Bewick kicking a goal in the last from the boundary line right in front of me in the Olympic Stand. I cant believe that was in 1992.

I was there when we kept fitzroy scoreless in the first half at the whitten oval, Longy played a blinder in his first game back from a knee reco.

the lack of real talent didn't help his cause lol

Except four games, I`ve been there for bloody everything since 1973 in Melbourne. Very lucky to have a Father who took me with him everywhere. Moorabbin, The Lakeside, Arden Street, Vic Park, The G, Waverly, Kardinia Park, you name it, we went. I can`t wait for this sunday ! I`m spewing there is only two more games. No more Bombers !

Have only been going to the footy for bout 7-8 years but,

I was there when We made the greatest comeback of all time against the Kangas (the first game I ever attended)
When Zaharakis kicked the winner on ANZAC Day.
When Hird hugged the guy in the crowd
When Lloyd took mark of the year
When we smashed Carlton by 99 points
When Lloyd bumped Sewell
When we ended the Saints winning streak
When Lucas went haywire in the last quarter of Hirdy and Sheeds last game

Great times, and hopefully many many more to come.

Been to a fair chunk of what has been mentioned so won't list them again, but there are two that haven't been mentioned yet that really stick in my mind.

I was there in 1996 when the lights went out at Waverley, it was absolute chaos. Unfortunatly couldn't make it to the follow up a few days later.

I was there in 2006 when David Hille showed incredible sportsmanship when he was first to Jamie Charman and called for help when he went down hard on his shoulder.

Talking about Moorabbin, I'm testing the memory, but I was defintely at Linton St. in the last round when the four Daniher boys played. It was a strange day, historical in one sense, very sentimental in another. Sheedy played them all together and in the process rested about six players to freshen up for the second week of the finals. West Coast ruined everything by drawing with the filth, giving the chosen six a 3 week holiday. A good plan that went undeservedly awry. I still feel the pain that extra week bestowed on the Dons.

I think Neale kicked a bag that day.

I watched that on tv and literally walked out of the room about 2 seconds before that happened.....D'oh!

i was there in 1999 when wayne carey kicked 10 against us, just as well we had M.Lloyd that kicked 7 at the other end and we won by 26points.

Was there for lloyds first game against adelaide at the G and Scotty Lucas' winning goal against carlton when silvagni kicked straight back to him from the goal line.....priceless!!

Great game my lasting memory is Kickett running back with the flight and taking the mark and then crashing into the post, saving us the game.

I was there when Hird, Cupido and Lloyd went nuts on Anzac Day 2003.
I was there when we broke our non-winning streak against Brisbane in 2006 (I havent sung a song with more noise and pride than after that game, Anzac Day 2009 included).

I didn't really go to the footy much before last year so that's probably all I got. :p

But I was there for all the big moments last year.

Zaharakis (Biggest roar I have ever heard. I struggled to hear the siren)
Beating St Kilda twice (I remember throwing my hat 10 metres away when Riewoldt took that mark, then rolled my ankle running down to the boundary after we won)
Beating Hawthorn twice (I actually missed the bump as I was look somewhere else at the start of the 3rd quarter)

That brought so much join watching Cupido at his peak. Had a better first year than McPhee iirc (recruited in the same year I think) but then McPhee shat on him.
