Developing a bunch of hacks ..the current Windies squad would make Lloyd, Richards, Garner, and co cringe everytime they take the field ...sorta like the way your parents cringe everytime you open your mouth
Indeed, what a bunch of hacks, worst team ever assembled, how could they ever beat those superstar Aussies?

The same way the hack Poms did last year. We played at half pace. At least the Windies don't have to rely on Billy Bowden to beat us.

I actually enjoyed this game, was severely pissed off when Gilchrist was let off but in the end it didn't matter, great bowling performance

Defeated Australia 224/9

West Indies win by 10 runs :thumbsu:
What a day this must be for you eddie! What unbelievable emotions you must be going through! Posting up the match report and everything, what a joyous occasion!

Bugger this game! Lets just get it right for the Ashes!!!! I'd rather win every Ashes test than this...bring it on!! A good wake up call!

wow that was rather devastating by Taylor.
Aussies again fail in the middle order, something needs to be done.

how about getting rid of a few overrated hangers on like Hogg, McGrath, Bracken, Clarke and a couple of others

Why was Gayle being so pissed off at Clarke? Thought he should've been cheering him on instead as he was doing the best impersonation of Simon Katich you'd ever see

Hogg getting only 3 overs was a blunder by Ponting, and the way he bowled his quicks at the death was another blunder as it costed us a needless 20-30 odd runs. Should've never allowed the Windies to get that many when we had them on the ropes big time early on

Then the batting was just too ****ing slow, Gilly's run out was crucial but the batting was still a disgrace.

clarke **** himself

the time was right for him to punish gayle and stick it up him but instead he played for himself so he wouldnt get out thus stuffing up the momentum of the innings

bring back hayden for a bit of balls :thumbsu:
martyn can pissoff

Hayden has been slow recently as well and can play for himself at times. With Hussey, rumour has it that slow wickets, spinners are his achilles heel. We'll have to wait and see. Clarke, far too slow.

And people say Smith is a poor captain.

They were too good.
Not convinced about their batting, if it wasn't for Lara and Morton they could have been all out for 100.
Taylor and Gayle were very good with the ball.
Wonder whether they'll go with Katich or Watson for G2.

I wonder if eddie wanted Flintoff dumped after he was doing worse than Watson at around the same period in his career?

:)
