If a country can't host it in full, don't give it to them. It takes the gloss away from the host nation when it is hosted by 2/3 of the southern hemisphere nations that compete (discounting Zimbabwe as the issues they had hosting last time speak for themselves)

The problem with cricket is that unlike soccer there aren't that many countries playing and of that maybe us, south africa, england and india are capable of hosting solo.

So unless we joint host shitty countries like NZ will never get a chance and will sook it up

So we'll take from that that you've never left Australia. Maybe you will when you grow up

And who says NZ couldn't host it solo ? The west Indies did in 2007. Their grounds etc wouldnt be any bigger than ours.
We also hosted the 2011 World Cup for rugby so got experience of hosting big tournaments

West Indies only hosted because they have to get a go eventually and the ICC need to continue to promote the game there or it will die especially in test form. Add to that it's not near any other cricket playing nations so logistically impossible to joint host.
