3rd gotta be way more than that. Whats got me is how he remembers all the passwords.
I'm just guessing but I reckon he reads back at all the nonsense he posts gets a little embarrassed at his ramblings and tries to start afresh, only to end up in the exact same spot.

1. Lethal
2. Lockett
3. Carey
4. Snr
5. Buddy
6. Judd
7. GAJ
8. Dusty (for now)
9. Diesel
10. Voss

Now you cause I haven’t seen a 1-50 list from you. Send me a link if you’ve done it already.
You haven't seen most of them play. 😂

Let's get this straight...

You're posting from your third (at least) different account since the start of the new year and you're labelling others trolls?

I hope you see the irony and indeed hypocrisy in that?

What are you talking about? There is something seriously wrong with you. Do you treat all Richmond supporters this badly?

Also Dusty, Judd, GAJ, Buddy are all in the same tier. Most people believe that. The AFL media certainly do. Idk where you get your info from.
Martin is not in the same tier as GAJ, Judd, Buddy, Goodes and Fyfe from this century alone, he's not in the same tier as Carey, Hird, Williams, Lockett or Dunstall from the '90s, or Mathews or Polly Farmer or Barry Cable or many more from the decades before. He's likely behind Buckley, Voss, Cousins and others from this century, in the mix with the likes Black, Riccuito and many others. He's not top 50 of all time, football has been played for a long time.

Because?

o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O
He was playing against the legends of the game....on grass and clay.
2 Grand Slams....and he's not even in the conversation?
If he hadn't gone professional (and inspired the youth of all those other countries to play tennis), he'd have won 30 Slam titles.

I was probably a bit harsh … but the talent pool and level of competition was not a patch on recent era’s.

Sampras won 14 majors. McEnroe 7. Agassi 8 etc…

Imagine the 1980’s-1990-2000s comprised only players from Aust and USA who were capable of winning majors?? No Edberg, Becker, Wilander, Lendl, Bjorg ..….. How many majors do all the Yanks win ……McEnroe might’ve won 30 without Lendl and Bjorg etc…

But you can only beat who is in front of you and maybe Laver would’ve beaten ‘em all even if the talent pool was 100x larger as it is now…. so I won’t discount him as I did earlier.

There has been plenty of discussion from many posters re: which players from the past are ahead of Martin, and why.

If you guys are in violent disagreement, feel free to post your rankings. I'm particularly interested in the players ranked just under Martin, if he is deemed worthy of top 10 or 20 all time...

From many names throughout this thread, here is a selection of those I rate below Martin:

Goodes
Fyfe
Pendlebury
Selwood
Dangerfield
Cousins
Black
Swan

Here are a few I rate about on par, but will be overtaken if Martin finishes with a strong season or two:

Judd
R. Harvey
Buckley
SOS
Hird
Voss

Here are a few I rate superior who Martin will join or overtake with a strong season or two:

GAS
Buddy
GAJ
Diesel Williams
Dunstall
KB

Here are a few I rate the highest who Martin needs to do something special in his last 2-3 seasons (AA, NS, 40-goals in a flag etc…) to join in the conversation:

Lockett
Carey
Lethal

You just read my mind. Totally agree as would most people in the real world.
