Is it really just the forward line, though? If they were getting it into the fwd line time after time after time and not scoring, I'd agree. I'm not sure if that is the case, though.The game plan didn't cost them the game tonight-Freo's lack of a forward line did. If it wasn't for Ross' game plan Freo would have lost by more.
People say Freo don't score enough (which is true) but it comes back to their forward line.
It seems to me that they don't even give the forwards they have enough opportunities. They can shut teams down, but when they get possession, they don't really have the drive or the set-up to get it quickly into the 50. They managed it for their first two goals tonight, but when that was taken away from them, they had nothing.
