It genuinely looks like a punishment. Why would anyone put themselves through that just to get seats in the front row? I wouldn't do it if they were the only seated memberships left in the entire stadium.

Front Row members will play their role in cheering the team to victory and creating the best match day atmosphere in Australian sport. Leading the crowd behind them, The Front Row will have certain responsibilities to comply with.
Please consider the following information carefully before deciding if The Front Row is for you:
- The front row of level 1 is behind a fence. This fence will not restrict the view of a person of average height; however, shorter people or children may find it more challenging.
- Front Row members must be West Coast Eagles supporters! If you can’t attend, you won’t be able to use the Seat Return program; instead, you must ensure you seat is being used by a fellow West Coast fan. Under no circumstances can there be any opposition colours in The Front Row!
- Front Row members are expected to wear their club-issued caps at every match, and, if possible, any suitable West Coast gear they may own (note that there may be a request from the club, or its partners, to wear a uniform in the future).
- Front Row members are expected to comply with, and perform, a number of club duties, for example (but not limited to):
- Standing up and leading the crowd behind them in specific activities, to be advised by the club by email ahead of the match
- Holding up signs, flags, banners, etc, as may be issued from the club
- Handing footballs from players to children in the crowd behind them (given the height of the fence, players will no longer be able to select children themselves). Front Row members cannot just keep these for themselves!
- Meeting as a group ahead of home games to lead a fan march; location to be advised by the club
What the!!!!!!!!! all sounds a bit fascist to me, what are they going to do if you turn up in non designated clothes? Chuck you out. What's next, everyone has to clap and cheer in the stadium when directed? From their website, basically you are part of their marketing department except you are paying them for the privilege. All sounds horrible IMO.
its basically an extended cheersquad. No one is forcing anyone to the take those memberships. What the!!!!!!!!! all sounds a bit fascist to me, what are they going to do if you turn up in non designated clothes? Chuck you out. What's next, everyone has to clap and cheer in the stadium when directed?

hmmm I like the idea of getting the crowd more involved. Would I do it, probably not, but we do need more crowd craziness. Personally I would have had a few dispersed blocks of "crazy fans"It genuinely looks like a punishment. Why would anyone put themselves through that just to get seats in the front row? I only watched for a minute but he took way more calls than how many members norf actually have.He is taking your calls now:
Glad they got this sorted for you mate. I've generally found the membership department pretty helpful.Big update: After some close communication with the club it turns out I was the victim of a system error. They have subsequently immediately offered me a Flexi/Front/Cheer upgrade for this season with a guaranteed upgrade to full 11-game membership next year due to my 12-year status. I am a very very happy man today

Have any of the recently upgraded itw members received their membership pack yet? I upgraded a few weeks ago now and haven't seen anything. After a decade of pins and stickers, it will be nice to actually get something useful in the mail from WCE.
