Seems accurate given the way they have played. Although a high % of the England team are overrated by beating up on Minnows/Flat Tracks and can't handle high quality competition.

For instance Harry Brook averages 24.33 in India after 9 innings.

That was a horror innings rom Liam Livingstone. Ben Ducketts comments about just caring about the Champions Trophy rather than this best of 3 ODI series, is a bit of a distasteful comment to anyone who attended or watch these three games.

There are better ways to word it. Say your 'going all out to win' and its a 'chance to test different methods out' etc. Its a cop out saying what he said before this game, especially when your down 0-2 in the series.

They dont look like they want to be there to be honest.

They are lucky in a way to be at this years Champions Trophy. They had a horrendous World Cup in 2023 in this part of the world. From memory, they qualified for this tournament by just scrapping through ahead of Netherlands and some other team (think it was Sri Lanka)

No fight, no bottle and guys like: Livingstone, Tom Banton, Phil Salt, Gus Atkinson dont strike me as players that would do the hard yards for their team.

It would have been a disaster for TV revenues had England not made the Champions Trophy compared to say a : Zimbabwe, Netherlands, Ireland or a West Indies.

Im pretty convinced all those 4 sides would give England a game in this part of the world.
