Ins and Outs for North next weekend

You know the rule with blooding players.

* When you're winning games, you don't want to mess with a settled side by bringing in a rookie.
* When you're losing games, you shouldn't play them because ideally you'd bring a young player into a settled side so they could learn their role better.

I no longer have any faith with any of the players who have trained with us in the last 2 years. If they've been exposed to Williams, the assistants and all the other support staff and have been mentored by anyone on our list above the age of 22, I'm afraid that it's too late for them, as they've already been Chocolatised and Rohdified.

^ we are already definitely out.

OUT: Ebert, Thurstans, Logan, Stewart, Lade(unless its gonna be his last, he deserves a send off game) and maybe surjan(hes been down lately)
IN: Lobbe, Gray, Broadbent + whoevers ready to have a go from the sanfl (I don't really know these things XD), I wanna see thompson again, but he sounds like he is playing bad in the sanfl :(

Anyone who has regressed this year should be dropped for this last game to provide them the due acknowledgement for how they've contributed to our season.

By my reckoning that means we'll drop:
Lade, Chad, Ebert, Pearce, Motlop (injuries are not an excuse, as he sucked in the month before he got injured), Shaun Burgoyne.

Ins:
Lobbe, Broadbent, Banner, Trengove, D. Stewart.........ah f**k, we don't have enough untainted players on our list.

He's actually playing bad in the SANFL reserves.

Yep, the last gamers should all get a send off. The match is irrelevant, and they deserve public recognition for their service. IMHO much better to do that in a farewell game than a lap around the oval later on.

Gray is an in if he's fit but there's no point if he isn't 100%. I'd like Broadbent and Davenport in but there's probably not enough room.

I think we have to absolutely nail the pre-season. I must admit, after the Swans game here at Manuka I thought we'd be a force this year. Something of a false dawn, clearly

OUT Logan, Ebert

P Burgoyne can stay in the SANFL

IN Broadbent, Gray (if fit),

Leave Lobbe for next year.

Depends on whether Essendon win.

If we are definitely out we should play Toby, PB etc for one last farewell.

Funny thing is chocolate asked Michael Wilson if he wanted a farewell game.. he told him he could just get onto the ground for ten minutes or so & Wilbur told him to play the kids..

Also when you have one of the greatest players to ever play for Port Adelaide come out & say 'I owe the Port Adelaide football club far more than it owes me' - Russel Ebert

Seeing as your grandmother is probably built more solidly than J Wes, there's a good chance she'd kick even more.

dont chu wish ur grandma was hot lykk anaeles? :D

Out: Thurstans (should never play top grade again . . . ever), Pearce, Ebert, C Cornes

In: My local U8 Division 4 team

OUT: Brett Ebert, Tobias Thurstans, Tom Logan

IN (ext. bench): Richard Fromberg, Robin Roenfeldt, Mike Meade, Professor Poopsnaggle, Caster Semenya

Caster Semenya has more balls than our whole team put together.

Out: Ebert, Cassisi (clearly isn't right), Rodan (see Cassisi)
In: P. Burgoyne, Gray, Dav

Maybe drop Salter for Westhoff as well, after all Salter didn't kick 5 goals last night. You know it makes sense Choco .

Announce before the game that this is P. Burgoyne, Lade, Thurstans and Logan's last game for the PAFC and give them all a send-off (as much as I dislike Thurstans and as much I don't think he deserves a send-off, it's the right thing to do when the season's already over). Make Lade captain for the day. **** the finals and **** winning a useless Round 22 game, make this a day about the club. If they're not playing as a team, maybe reminding them about the fact that they're all meant to work together and they're all meant to like and respect each other will help. Make Round 22 2009 all sunshine and lollipops, then get down to the serious business after the season.

bring in peter burgoyne only if it is the last game he will ever play for thr pafc.

tom logan wont be omitted because choco said he played his role.

ebert must be omitted.

thustans must be omitted.

cassisi to get proper treatment on his head.

westhoff to remain in the sanfl.

I can't even think of who to bring in. Gray if he will be fit.

Bring in broadbent, or whichever young bloke has even the potential to be a part of our next premiership 22.

thustans must be omitted.

Anyone who was on this board last night knows exactly how I feel about Tobias, but we might as well send him off. It's not like it matters whether we win or not, and I'm sure that young player X in the SANFL wouldn't learn much from one game with two teams who both won't make the finals.

It does matter in my opinion.

Even though our season is now officially over, every game must mean at least something.

I say bring in peter burgoyne, only if it's his last game, because he has been one of our best players since AFL inception.

Thurstans' career compared to Burgoyne's is an insult to the latter. Thurstans, as much as he should be delisted, won't, because we all know of the affair that has been described in ETW's transcripts. Hence, why bring him in? As much as it pains me to say it, it won't be the last game he ever plays for our club, and 100+ game players don't deserve that final send off in my opinion. Josh Mahoney never got to play to 100 games, and he gave port 10x more than thurstans ever did.
