Late inclusion Ed Lower picked up 19 possessions and kicked a goal against Port Adelaide on Saturday night.
This week North Melbourne faces arguably its toughest challenge of the season so far against Geelong at Skilled Stadium.
The undefeated Cats are a daunting task for the Kangaroos, but after an exciting win against Port Adelaide on Saturday night, North Melbourne will have plenty of confidence.
This week, kangaroos.com.au asks supporters to name their ins and outs for Saturday's match against Geelong.
Both Brady Rawlings and Gavin Urquhart were late withdrawals on Saturday night, but who will they replace after some solid form from their replacements Ed Lower and Sam Power?
Lower picked up 19 possessions and kicked a vital goal in the Roos' win, while Sam Power shadowed the dangerous Peter Burgoyne and kept him to just 14 touches.
If they’re declared fit, Rawlings and Urquhart are guaranteed to regain their spots in the team, but there is also plenty of pressure coming from North Melbourne's VFL representatives.
At Werribee Leigh Adams, Nathan Grima and Alan Obst have all had strong starts to the season and look as though they could easily step into the senior team, while North Melbourne's second pick in the 2008 National Draft Sam Wright has shown plenty of improvement over recent weeks.
Corey Jones and Josh Smith have both been pivotal in North Ballarat's strong start to the season. Jones has been among the best for the Roosters' in their last three matches and looks primed to get a chance in the near future. Six goals to Smith on the weekend will put him back in contention after being omitted in Round 5.
Rookie Cruize Garlett has put his hand up to be promoted to the senior list after some great performances in recent weeks after coming back from a serious ankle injury. He had 25 possessions and kicked two goals in North Ballarat's win on Sunday.
