Yeah he did.

Also, Trump's vice president-elect called him an "idiot" and said he was "reprehensible." Privately, he compared him to Adolf Hitler. I mean if that's all out in the open on plenty of articles then Trump must be pretty forgiving.
The difference is Vance apologized and kissed Trump's ass is Kevin07 willing to get on his knees?

He's gotta go

This won't happen. What I said a year ago will happen. Russia will get all the territory it has gained. Ukraine will have to make assurances it will not join NATO. Zelensky will be sent into exile. Trump will say to that's it though. No more expansion or I'll **** you up. There will be a few small concessions here and there but that will be the crux of it. I said this a year ago and was derided and called a monster yada, yada. No I'm just a realist. This was a Proxy war that Ukraine could never win that the NeoCon Democrats wanted to weaken/destabilize Russia. That hasn't materialized. Trump has consistently said he would end it and this is how it will play out.
lol.

Greg Norman to replace Rudd as Oz Ambassador in USA.

Called for it in 2017, but might be more useful now. At least make him deputy ambassador and he can play golf with Trump in Florida, given they live around the corner from each other.

Hockey played a lot of golf with Trump whilst he was ambassador, and has said he lost a lot of golf games to Trump. Want to see Norman beat Trump, fire him up and then they can have discussions about matters of state.

Most US presidents have made big donors to their campaigns as their ambassadors to Oz. We have had shopping centre moguls and real estate developers as ambassadors - no diplomatic experience.

Obama made one of his lawyer mates Jeff ???? ambassador in his first term, who was pretty good in the Oz media, then a gay guy professional state department type replaced him. Took Trump a couple of years to appoint a permanent ambassador and he was an ex Ronald Regan chief counsel, worked for Dick Chaney, worked on McCain's campaign - was establishment republican.

Biden appointed Caroline Kennedy another lawyer, she took up her post 18 months after Biden became Prez, but having been ambassador to Japan during Obama's presidency, she knew the ropes - as well as the strategic value of the Pacific.

So what’s your take on war crimes, the rebuild of Ukraine (would russia have to pay for it), and the sanctions on russia.
Also, if russia gets to keep the territory it has gained in Ukraine surely this means Ukraine get to keep the territory it has gained in russia.
Ukrainians in a recent poll
"Around 46% of Ukrainians would be ready to accept giving up Donbas and Crimea, the poll said, with 39% of them saying that compromise would be difficult."

With your plan russia doesn’t make any concessions apart from “a few small concessions here and there.”

Nah.

I reckon Warren Tredrea is the obvious front runner for the next Australian ambassador to US. An alpha male who has shown he has the credentials to fit in with the new Trump Cabinet plus he lives here and still has Aussie accent. His tinder contact list is more likely to be in line with Donny's age target as well.

No idea how but given the weirdo times we live in, flow on benefits to PAFC could be huge. We should definitely push for it to happen.

I doubt anything will be made of so called "Russian war crimes"

Russia won't pay any "reparations". That generally goes to the losing team. Any rate the rebuild of Ukraine will go to American Contractors and Finance firms....as was the plan all along. Further indebtng the country.

What Russian territory has been annexed by Ukraine?

The concession that Russia will make is that they won't invade anywhere else westerly if there is an assurance that Ukraine won't join NATO.

Just one of the the so called "Russian war crimes"

"reparations"
The EU makes available in support of Ukraine the first payment of €1.5 billion generated from immobilised Russian assets.

Not quite annexed.
Ukraine launched a lightning incursion deep into Russia territory in early August.
For two months now, Ukrainian troops have been in control of dozens of settlements in Russia’s border region, with refugees continuing to pour into the Kursk Oblast’s provincial capital as fierce fighting in the west of the region continues.

Russia has given assurances in the past.
The Budapest memorandum was struck in 1994.
The Budapest Memorandum consists of a series of political assurances whereby the signatory states commit to “respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine”.

Russia was one of the signatory states.
Russia first broke its commitments under the Budapest Memorandum in 2014, with its annexation of Crimea and aggression in eastern Ukraine
Ukraine may have only 2 options to guarantee russia don’t invade again.
• Join NATO
• Go nuclear again
"Western indecision in Ukraine’s pursuit of security guarantees risks triggering a global chain reaction, with nations turning to nuclear weapons as a deterrent in the absence of reliable security commitments."

I really can't be bothered countering all this... just know the outcome will be what I predicted a year ago and posted today. Europe, doesn't really have an appetite for this war, when Trump pulls the funding, it's over.

Trump will want to get something out of the Russians to cement his legacy as a great deal maker.

How does Trump plan to stop russia's war against Ukraine? That's the million-dollar question.
Trump has said Putin's conditions for peace talks are "not acceptable," argues that he was tougher on Russia than previous presidents, and claims that Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if had he been in the White House. In 2017, he gave the green light for the United States to provide lethal aid to Ukraine, something his predecessor, Democrat Barack Obama, had refused to do because of concerns about provoking Moscow.

We have no idea what to expect, with Trump, in terms of military aid.
In April, Trump said he would be open to something like the lend-lease program the United States launched to help allies during World War II as an alternative to aid grants.

Not surprisingly the Murdoch Press are determined to end Kevin Rudd's tenure as Australian Ambassador to the US. They are pillorying Rudd for saying what most Australians think about Donald Trump. The same Murdoch cronies will probably not comment on the appointment of former Fox News host Pete Hegseth as defence chief not to mention former Fox talkback host Mike Huckabee's appointment as Ambassador to Israel. Trump rewarding his mates from the Fox network is not newsworthy and never going to draw criticism from the Murdoch Empire.

I do not expect to see the Murdoch Press criticising Trump's appointment of Elon Musk to head the Department of Government Efficiency. Doubtless this Department will ease regulation and statutory requirements for Trump, Musk, Murdoch and alike. Elon Musk has bought himself into a position of influence and the US will be run by the mega rich and the US population has only itself to blame if it all goes pear shaped.

Hopefully Anthony Albanese shows some balls and leaves Rudd where he is.

The Murdoch Press and ‘X’ will both be out to finish Labor and help get Dutton in power. We may as well drag Abbott back and Scomo too, why not.

I’m no fan of Albo mind you, to me he represents old politics of Australia, just like Scomo, Dutton etc… I’d prefer our state leader jump to federal level but he isn’t that stupid. He atleast seems to be in the middle, not too far right, not too far left, seems to be right where a politician should be in the modern world.

Russian Plant Tulsi Gabbard and accused sex predator Mat Gaetz being given positions of authority too.
Putin’s capture of the US is almost complete.

NATO will not be able to trust the US with Gabbard and her direct line to the Kremlin.

Just get Mexico to pay for it, problem solved.
