this reminds me of the bed wetters changing emotions during a crows game. i agree, trump is now clearly fave - but still early to be so definitive and odds keeping moving rapidly and some significant data dumps to come

Harris behind 100k in PA. at the same time of night in 2020 Biden was down DOUBLE that

Harris up 100k in Michigan

Close in Wisconsin (5k) but Harris underperforming in areas she was expected to do better

I just cannot fathom how ANYONE could vote for Trump. It just beggars belief.

I’m with you but obviously 50% of the US population does.

They see nothing wrong with his sexist and racist behaviour.

One thing I do is when I visit the US, I stick to the Democratic states, none of those rednecks are getting my money.

Jobs.

He promises the great unwashed Jobs. Bringing manufacturing back to the US.

When you cut through all the crap, that is why the working class vote for him.

The "promise " of Jobs.

The irony being Elon Musk is a big Trump backer and most Telsa's manufacturing is based in China ....

The irony of this is he didn’t bring back jobs to the rust belt as he said he would last time when he was in power.

That’s why I said he is clearly fave. Odds keep getting longer 10-1also so agree it’s very hard to see any meaningful comeback. I can’t believe Trump may even win the popular vote now being reported

Harris wasn't a great candidate

Like I said yesterday, my theory is that when push comes to shove there is always a subconscious bias toward male candidates especially in countries like the USA.

I never really had the sense that Harris was going to win. I thought she possibly could win if things went her way and she had a really strong campaign, but she was always going to be up against it.

I still think it's way too early to call yet though.
Yep the Democrats "Änybody but Trump" mantra has been an abject failure.

Her only chance was for the Democrats to get Biden to resign 12 months ago when it was plainly seen by everyone he was incapable of running again and to have Harris to go to this election as the incumbent, that said she was a stunningly bad choice by the Democrats.

Can't see anyway Harris has any chance now.

Your loss. I met some wonderful folks travelling through Louisiana, MS, TN and NC, and Utah has some of the best scenery in the whole country.

If the blocks of homeless drug addicts in Californian cities are more your thing then you do you.

That's his same attitude to Australian country folk as well, thinks he's superior which tells you all you need to know about him.

Altogether different discussion given the old girl is on record as to voting Greens.
Bullshit. You replied to a post by her, which was clearly about the US election, and turned it into an attack on her (alleged) previous support of the Greens. You were the one who brought Aus politics into a US politics discussion.
There aren't too many worse people than Lidia Thorpe in the Australian Parliament.
One of the few things we can agree on - and I doubt there would be too many thinking otherwise, even jenny. Thorpe is a revolting excuse for a human being, let alone a parliamentarian.

You literally brought up an Australian election and then said you didn't bring up an Australian election.

It's no surprise that you idolise someone like Trump.

It's looking like it's going to be a similar result to 2016 give or take a few points.

Obviously there's some close races in swing states that are most probably still too close to call, but a repeat of 2016's result is how things are looking so far.

The greatest Republican Abraham Lincoln said :

'You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.'

. A total red wave happening so far.

Waiting for the 3am burst pipes now.
Ooooh, I dunno about that. Trump's done a pretty good job of fooling people all of the time. 🤣

I won’t be missing much coz been to all those redneck states plus Florida, Wyoming, South Dakota, Georgia over the past 20 years. Don’t see much need to see things those areas again.

Don’t spend anytime in Los Angeles at all - just a fly in, fly out city.

Pretty sure I know more about the US than you do.

Like to show me just one post that supports that bullshit...
