Been alot of talk on the AA team, maybe we should give that a break, and have a crack at the International Rules sides instead? Im pretty sure its set out this way; 6 Backs + Forwards, 2 Midfielders, 1 Keeper and 8 Bench.

Backs: Andrew McLeod, Luke Hodge, Heath Shaw, Andrew Raines, Adam Goodes, Lindsay Gilbee

Midfielders: Chris Judd, Simon Goodwin

Forwards: Brad Johnson, Brett Deledio, Lance Franklin, Alan Didak, Gary Ablett, Aaron Davey

Keeper: Nathan Carrol

Bench: Danyle Pearce, Brent Harvey, Kane Cornes, Daniel Wells, Cameron Bruce, Brett Burton, Daniel Kerr, David Wirrapanda

Plenty of quick movers in that side, Heath Shaw, Andrew Raines and Danyle Pearce, all very good young finds this year can all move quick, and have high skills with the footy. Bit of speed with Judd, Wells and Deledio. And some pure class by adding in Davey, Ablett and Bruce. Keeper for the AA Full Back, right now IMO, should be Nathan Carrol.

Anyone else wanna add in their own.

Hey, i can't comment on the Aussie selection but i could make a prediction on the Irish side if anyone wants to see it.

Is that similiar to last years Aussie team ? Have you still got the same coach ?

Is there any buzz about the series in Austrailia yet ? Its usually very quiet in Ireland until coming close to the games so we've had very little media coverage about it so far this year.

Any of you guys going to make the trip over ? If you are try and make a hurling match if you have time (if u haven't seen it already), i can get details of fixtures if anyone interested.

S Burgoyne. Surly he would get a place ahead of Mitchell (No Pace).

Franklin would be another to look at, Tall and very mobile would probaly give the irish a run around. Will def get picked is sheedy is coach we all know how much he loves franklin. ;)

Was it dale morris who was picked last year?? He has a good season should get picked also.

A. Kellaway is the best keeper!!!

wat about the clothesline from chris johnson last year. that was great. easily the best international rules id ever seen. players goin down everywhere

Why was that great ?

I thought the great part of last years IR was the best kicking, tackling and scoring ever seen so far in the series.
I'm really looking forward to watching that class again and hopefully we can rise to the bar that the Aussies have set.

i want to see ben cousins in there. He would never stop running, is not the quickest but is quicker then most, great evasive skills, would easily beat the irish physically. Also beau waters to be our 'hardman' and to injure the whole irish team :D

A question for Premier.
Do you know when tickets will become available for the matches? Have been checking the Irish ticketmaster but just says currently not on sale.
Hoping to make trip across from london for Dublin game.
Cheers.

speed, speed and more speed is needed.

Have a look mate, Wells was in the side.

And you wont go past much pace that i put in, who do you suggest i dump to put in Lovett or Power?

Franklin and Burgoyne are possible inclusions as well.

ive always wondered, what's stopping us using a soccer goalkeeper? I mean the irish guys have specialist goal keeper's in their sport, and we don't. As long as he's an aussie, i don't see the prob??

and imagine the interest generated if we could secure the services of Mark Schwarzer ...

the soccer purists would go nuts :D

Sounds like a good idea to me, he'd want to know it'd be a bit tougher then a soccer match though.
