Is Collingwood's Forward Line The Best in the League

I think you should do a bit of research before you make silly comments mate. I used to play footy with one of Tarrants mates, and this year was a misery for him, at the start of the pre season the club found a cyst on the back of his knee which was not far off becoming cancer if they didnt manage it, it was on the back of his kicking leg. So just please read up on things before you make comments.


Our forward line looks good if they can all stay fit with no injuries, you have to expect some injuries throughout the year, thats just part of the game but i think that Rocca, Tarrant, Didak, Buckley can make the most of the difference.

I think it would be a good idea to rotate Rusling and Tarrant through FF and CHF. The one to watch will be Travis Cloke to see if he has the so called "2nd year blues".

With minimal injuires Collingwood are a better team that 15th, i would place them somewhere between 6th to 8th.

Any unbiased football fan would realise that collingwood's forward line is far superior to Carlton's. FFS, if you want to bag collingwood, at least make it realistic.

Waite, Fisher, Lappin, Whitnall, Fev, Betts. Collingwood's is good when all there but far superior, don't think so. It's the one thing in our team that's any good.

Ironic when you think about it, they talk about the importance of a good forward line. Collingwood have Tarant and Rocca etc..., Carlton's have the above, they finish 15th & 16th. If the WCE have have half those forward lines they probably would've won a flag. Demonstrates the importance of a good midfield.

One thing for sure I'd want our forward line ahead of yours. It's the area I'm happy with at Carlton, even when Fev spits it. Suppose you did lose lose Rocca, which didn't help. Our biggest problem is from the midfield back. Our defence was absolute crap, If it could be 20th in a 16 team field it would be.

I gather that you missed the post about dropping a midfielder into the forward six to make it look better? I agree with that post. Especially in this case. JBolton played one game up forward this season (Hawks), it's not his area. Davis should also be a midfielder.

He has proven he is one of the talented forwards going around in the AFL when on-song, and next year he would prove it to you. You'd also love him if he was at Richmond.

Fraser - Hack.

Fraser is no "hack". He has still got plenty of good football in front of him, and if he wasn't struck down by injury this year, we could have seen him play very good football. Next year would be Josh's year.

Buckley - Twang.

This comment you have made has made me certain that you are an idiot. Since Bucks has been back from injury, he has looked dangerous playing a new role in our forward line. He has been a champion over many years, and hopefully he finishers of his career on a good note.

Rocca - Servicable.

Rocca is far more better then Richardson and Simmonds. He is the barometer of the Collingwood team, and he can certainly win a game off his own boot. Hopefully Rocca proves to everyone why he is a very good footballer, because all of the Collingwood supporters know how good he is.

Caracella - Part time hack.

Caracella is more then just a "part time hack". He can be very good on his day, and he certainly is a better footballer then what you put him out to be.

Cloke - Done nothing.

Cloke has shown tremendous potential in his first handful of AFL games. He is a certainty of taking over CHF after Rocca retires, and he would be a very good player for this club over a long period of time.

Didak - Over rated.

Didak is a very dangerous small forward. Daicos-like abilities, he definitely knows how to find the goals on numerous occasions. He is a match-winner, and he will be a superstar.

If you pay any attention to Collingwood games, you would find Holland has played most of his football in the midfielder this year. I think his best football is in the midfield, but he is a handy forward as well.

Davis - Hahahahahahahahaha.

Davis has been inconsistent over his AFL career so far. We can only hope he can show consistency, but when he is on-song, he is exciting to watch.

Don't worry, mate. Once we draft some excellent-speedy midfielders, we would be very hard to stop for sure.

It's a good forward line, but it has the 'potential' tag hanging over it's head. Too many players yet to prove their consistency or brilliance in the game. Rocca and Buckley aside, they will be unpredictable.

In terms of balance, I think Melbourne has some good options
