He is exciting to watch. But from all accounts, your team's performance vs Richmond was possibly the worst game staged this season (or at least since you hosted Adelaide).
You mean when we had half of our best side out (literally half), tried to tank and still almost won?

This would be Liam Jurrah who was training with us and was reportedly gutted to have to go to Melbourne?
LOL reported by who? The little man in your head?

Nah i'm pretty sure it's the Liam Jurrah who is best mates with Aaron Davey, Aussie Wonaeamirri and Matty Whelan :thumbsu:

Must have been his long-lost twin brother SLF :p

Fair play to you though mate, some return fire was understandable :thumbsu:

Thanks for the compliment about the "Jurrahcane" mate.

But, to be fair, I'd say we pushed Adelaide a fair bit more than you guys did.

And as far as the Richmond game goes, we were down to half-strength against them, then copped even MORE injuries during the match, to the point where we could barely put 18 fit players on the field, so I'd have been very surprised if we'd put in a 5-star performance ;)

Stupid thread, even for bay 13.

YES, I totally agree!

Thing is of course Jacko, many Demons supporters don't actually agree with W=L in what he's saying about that particular issue anyway mate - me included...

On the contrary, I'd say 80% of Melbourne fans don't want to compromise the future of the club by winning one more meaningless win. I know you're in the 20% and that's fine.

Go on to Demonland and look at some of the polls.

Well incidentally Trav, I wasn't talking about the general and ongoing debate we've been having amongst ourselves about that issue lately mate, I was more speaking about the wrongheaded "tanking" claims being leveled at the club in recent times, which a lot of us have comprehensively refuted, and presented strong arguments to back up our position on various threads throughout BF.

But I think it's also a long bow to draw to assert that an Internet poll on one forum is an accurate barometer of general opinion amongst all Demons supporters.

And I know I'm not Robinson Crusoe in saying that, by any stretch of the imagination.

Well I have a lot of time for North Melbourne as a club, as it happens.

Incidentally, if what I've been hearing about in the news recently is true, it looks like a sane stadium deal at Etihad is getting closer to reality, which will make a substantial difference to North's bottom line, apart from the positive strides I've seen them making off the field recently...

On the hate scale North is down the bottom.

But I have no time for any other club.
