there has been a long history of the u.s aiding and abetting israel's brutal occupation. and other western countries have ben supporters and aiders. without their aid and support, this massacre could not have occurred. yet we see the results of the aid and weaponry given to the terrorist state, and we not only don’t stop it, we continue to give it. shame on all of us.

Colonel Richard Kemp, who led British forces in Afghanistan, told The Sun it’s a “real danger” that he believes will become a reality when Tehran and its proxies decide to act.

He said Iran and Hezbollah could “activate” sleeper cells across Europe to launch attacks against the UK and US at any time.

Commander who spent most of the Afghan war in the cabinet office and was very junior.

And of course

He is the head of the UK Friends of the Association for the Wellbeing of Israel’s Soldiers (UK-AWIS), the UK branch of AWIS, an Israeli organisation managed by the Israel Defense Forces and headed by General Yoram Yair.[3]

It would be nice if journalists did a bit of journalism and actually noted and conflicts of interest when they quote statements

Totally disagree with the bold type.

Has Biden ever put to a national referendum whether or not the people of America wish to support Netanyahu's genocide?
Of course not.

Millions of Americans have been on the streets on a regular basis to demand that the Biden Administration stop funding Israel's terrorist war machine

Did Biden listen?
Not only did he refuse to listen, he and the entire US political establishment sent out police to shoot rubber bullets at pro-Palestine student protesters, and smeared the protests as "anti-Semitic"

The issue is not lack of moral outrage in the vast majority of the population, or lack of will to stop the genocide. The anti-genocide protests have been the largest protests for decades, and also the most continuous for decades.

The issue is a question of political perspective. Protesting, appealing to ruling elites, demanding that war criminals such as Netanyahu, Biden, Starmer, Macron, Albanese, change their minds and "show compassion" is totally bankrupt.

They support genocide not primarily because they are sociopathic maniacs, but fundamentally because the geopolitical interests of the social class they represent (in Albanese's case, the Australian capitalist class, which has totally aligned its destiny with that of US imperialism) requires them to do so.

Political leaders are selected on the basis of their willingness to cross any line to defend the profit interests of their nation's capitalist elite.

Albanese has crossed the genocide line, and he won't go back just because tens and hundreds of thousands march in the streets of Melbourne and Sydney (and in other cities).

But it is not shame on "us"! Rather, we - the vast majority - need to turn to a new political perspective because the old one is utterly futile.
