No, it's not.

The USA (and Australia too) will get involved well before the end of Israelis even close.
No they won’t. There is no political will in either country.

If either USA or Aus committed forces there would be violence in the streets. If they don’t, “the world will keep spinning” as you like to say.

Netanyahu and the lobby have spent all their capital.

If you don't think the US, Australia and every other western country goes to war to defend Israel if it came to it (IE If Iran invaded Israel). No one should take you very seriously from now on.

Israel is the aggressor. An apartheid regime. Why should the west defend them?

If Iran attacks them totally different to now.

You can argue the would/should/could all you want.

Fact is it will happen.

The US will go, and they will tell the rest us too also. We do what the US tells us to. Like it has for the last 70 odd years whenever the US does something.

The vile Iranian regime all deserve a horrible death. Murder their own citizens, fund terrorists the world over and supply the russian terrorist regime drones solely to attack civilians.

the iranian regime is a pestilence. but nowhere near as pervasively evil as the corrupt israeli regime.

Can't see Australia actually going boots on the ground, nor the US beyond some mercs, 'trainers', and maybe the odd seal team. Those carriers are there for a reason though, air dominance and no fly zones for sure(RAAF pilots from mid east bases probably)

Iran isn't really conquerable, US won't go full occupation and Israel can't project force in that way. The war is already happening really, will just see an increase in the tempo of drone/missile strikes and proxy attacks.

Hezbollah have already bested the 'most moral conscripts' and no one sane would push into Lebanon. Bibi could go full special though

The vile Netanyahu regime deserves to be convicted of war crimes and jailed asap.

Whether its boots on the ground or planes in the kky. It will happen.

I don't think Australia will commit troops. I think there should be a high court challenge if they even propose it, because supporting Genocide is illegal. I wonder what the trigger is for stopping the Govt from doing something illegal internationally.

I really don't think Labor will send troops. There will be bigger opposition than there was to the Iraq War. It'll bring down their Government.

Netanyahu has appointed another pro-genocide person to his team.

Again,

I said in a pure 1v1 with Iran - that was the Hypothetical.

USA, Hezbollah etc have nothing to do with what i originally suggested. You are indeed moving the goal posts.
It would all depend on the goal. What would winning a war mean in this hypothetical 1 on 1?

just full destruction.

Israel win 10/10

just full destruction.

Israel win 10/10

It's entirely plausible that Syria and Russia join the Iranian side, perhaps Turkey and Lebanon as well. If this happens, Israel will suffer more damage than Iran will. Iran is 88 million people, Israel is 10m. Israel have to land 10x more ordnance than Iran would to impact the same amount. Iran and allies would be firing from 150km from Tel Aviv, Israel will be firing from 1,000km from Iran.

And if the US join in, Iran will block the straits of Hormuz and the price of oil will hit prices so astronomical it will upend Governments worldwide. Everyone will be buying Russian oil again.

Biden and Harris need Netanyahu to de-escalate, and Netanyahu wants to escalate to stay in power and ethnically cleanse while they have what's left of Oct 7th as an excuse.

Pretty strong admission in this opinion piece in the conservative Jerusalem Post. That while they have been militarily successful, they're simply further from their stated goals. More Palestinians support armed struggle than before the war. More of the world recognises the Palestinian struggle and the role of Israel as the oppressor.

The defeats to Hamas’s military have been noteworthy in that quest for deterrence. Since October 7, Israel has successfully targeted key Hamas infrastructure, eliminated very high-ranking operatives, and dismantled weapons stockpiles. These achievements have undeniably substantially weakened the terrorist group’s operational capabilities.

Nevertheless, though Hamas may have taken a big military hit, support for it has actually increased among everyday Palestinians. According to a recent poll, two-thirds of all Palestinians think the October 7 attack was a correct decision, and support for armed struggle has risen by eight percentage points to 54%.

Support for Hamas rose by six percent to 40%, and dissatisfaction with the Palestinian Authority has increased, with 89% now wanting PA president Mahmoud Abbas to resign. (Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research).

HOW DO we address the tragic reality that, in pursuit of deterrence, in pursuit of Jewish safety, Israel may have only helped usher in a new era of scrutiny and targeting of Jews? Perhaps it is too late: Israel has already cast itself as persona non grata on the world stage, with demonstrations in major cities and on campuses worldwide, condemnation from world leaders, sanctions, and diplomatic isolation.

it's entirely plausible

but that's not what i said is it................

I said it as a pure 1v1 hypothetical, then you involve everyone else lol.

So Israel could achieve a completely pointless goal. That would probably ensure their future destruction. Fair enough.

was purely a compassion of military power only, nothing else.

it was a pure who would win 1v1 Israel or Iran based on their military capability.

Israel 10/10 times
