The crossing into Syria was being used by thousands to flee, but the Israeli military says Hezbollah were transporting weapons along it.

The US strikes reportedly hit multiple Houthi-linked sites, which included Yemen's capital Sanaa.

Houthi targets in Yemen have been struck by the US and Britain since January in response to attacks by rebels on shipping in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The Houthis have repeatedly targeted commercial shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since November, sinking two vessels, seizing another and causing the deaths of at least four crew members.

They've attacked around 80 commercial ships, many of them probably not doing any business with Israel.
Needless to say they are pissing a lot of people off.

Everyone knows Israels known response policy is to not to be proportionate, to act as a deterrent against attacks. so simple, don't attack them and you won't get a disproportionate response.

whether it's right, wrong or indifferent can certainly be discussed but people know what's going to happen if they do it.

Its like walking past a group of outlaw bikers and flipping them the bird, then complaining that their response is not proportionate.
Its not, its totally unfair, and illegal, and totally predictable.

I’ve said in the past, targeted attacks on Hamas leaders would have been the go.

They did a good job against Hezbollah, but people said that was bad.
Better to shoot missiles than blow up their communication devices i guess.

Palestinians refugees have had preferential treatment over other refugees.

When the Jews founded Israel in 1947, They got all the desert land while Palestine got the good farm land.

Funny how Palestine people get free money. What do they do with it? instead of using that free cash to improve their lives and the people around them by spending that free cash on education and infastructure and Food, they rather spend it on weapons and guns to try and kill the Jews.
