Mid East Israel declare war after Hamas attack III

the west has lost its moral compass.” it is not the defence of israel. it’s the expansion of israel. and it is the creation of an apartheid regime”

A nice speech by David. I like the middle east monitor. I would disagree with his early point that the international community is to blame.....israel has dropped the bombs on civilians. Gutless self-serving govts havent done it. Even the US gov't hasnt done it by supplying the bombs. The Israelis are the ones.

Another point is the "palestinians will re-emerge" theory. Ask an Israeli gov't official and they will tell you that palestinians wont re-emerge if you kill every one of them or scatter them to lands far away. This has been the longterm plan for decades....probably from the creation of israel.

twitter / x is the best source out there

MSM is a propaganda misinformation machine depends on what narrative they're going with

I wouldnt call it a source. It's a signpost ....sometimes. Often it's a jumble of words that might be factual or something made up over breakfast. As for its opinions, I dont think so

Probably the most rational voice I have heard on Israel Palestine in quite some time and good to know there are decent people on both sides of this argument. That man spoke so much truth but some of the footage shown during his speech was just heartbreaking and you think where will the madness end and will it end.

He did say there is no chance for a 2 state solution and that in itself is pretty devastating news as that is what I have always hoped for.

There will never be a two-state solution. It's a myth to keep the softies placated....

For those casually following the genocide, the key point is the far right welcomed the sacking of the foreign minister. Whether the new bloke will be able to kill palestinians faster will be seen in the coming days. I think the election of Trump will be more important to maintaining the slaughter. He's been paid off and has a long history of not really caring too much for people without money who cant or wont vote for him.

There's only one country in the whole world which doesn't want a 2-state solution: Israel. And while the US has a 2-state solution as their public line, they out-source their middle-east policy to the Israeli Lobby.

Everyone in the middle east knows and sees this, which is why as long as Israel is around, nobody will trust the US and they'll eventually lose the region to Chinese influence.

It'll be israel with the US completely surrounded by adversaries supported by other foreign regimes. It's not a long-term solution whether they ethnically cleanse Palestine or not.

Netanyahu sacking the Defence Minister for undermining the mission objectives because the Defence Minister has repeatedly pointed out that the mission objectives are not clear to anyone, including the military. It's not to bring hostages home, it's not to occupy the territory, but also not to hand it back to anyone else. It's a recipe for endless war.

It's a bit like how the IDF says that Hamas don't care about civilian hostages, but then use civilian hostage human shields themselves because Hamas won't blow them up that way.

Also, here's the IDF supporting Israeli terrorists forcing more Palestinians off their land and a guy even cracking an elbow into the back of a ladies' head. Because they're so pro-equality-you-know.

If Hezbollah is as successful as it is I think Israel will really suffer this time but I expect them hit back as soon as they can.Last time Israel bombed Iran they had to retreat after the 1st wave of strikes instead of completing their mission the reason being their f35,s stealth bombers were not actually all that stealthy.

The 1st wave never actually got to fly over Iran and launched their missiles from Iraqi airspace so no chance any other Israeli bombers were going in. Iranian air defence much too good much to the dismay of Israel, the way they are going in Lebanon on the ground against Hezbollah makes me think they will get their asses handed to them by Iran,It does not matter how good Israel,s pilot,s are these days are missile wars and if you took Israel,s nuclear warheads away they would be nothing.

This was so easily forseen back on Oct7 Israel thought they would commit Genocide in Gaza then the west bank and then Greater Israel would happen. They are having to go back into Gaza all the time because Hamas keeps popping everywhere and as for Lebanon they are already talking about a tactical withdrawal because they losing on the ground.

The Russians are the best fighter pilots ATM also and Russian air defence also the best and Netanyahu knows this this is the reason he is so keen to talk to Puttin because he thinks they will convince Iran not to strike but like most his plans they are delusional.

I think a lot of that is incorrect.
The most recent Israeli strike on Iran was considered a success, including hitting targets near Iran.
This suggests that the aircraft were well inside Iranian air space.

Russian pilots are not generally considered to be overly well trained, and more importantly these days, the USA designed Avionics are ridiculously more advanced.

F35's are not a bomber. ( though they can carry a light bomb load ).

Important parts of the the Russian designed air defence system in Iran was neutralised during the recent strike.

The surrounding arab elites are happy to deal with israel and the US. They want access to technology and the trump accords demonstrated that they dont give a stuff about the palestinians and other arab groups in the region which dont have power or money.

Of course, the populations that they control are another matter. Historically, of course, they feel a connection to the palestinians but if israeli technology provide them with jobs and money, how strong are those ties? Will the younger generations worry about palestinians losing their chance for their own country?

On the election front, Trump will win. Harris is in the back pocket of the israelis but trump has been paid off big time. It will go into overdrive.

Democrats forgot, maybe they really didnt, that the US is a warlike society. It wants a male chief in charge. I doubt the US will ever elect a woman. Even the non-woke US women want a man in charge.

interesting site. Its like a US funded site but I cant find out who owns it. Certainly more persuasive than a game of thrones twitter feed...

Trump or Harris, none of them will move against Israel. But if the EU all recognise the state of Palestine and pressure the US, sure the US and Israel will keep blocking it, but it'll be another shift away from US hegemony.

Trump being elected won't change much for Palestinian people, they've being ethnically cleansed and bombed as much as Israel can undertake. But at least with Trump cheering them on instead of pretending he's trying to stop it (like Biden and Harris), the rest of the world can stop pretending that Israel or the US want peace in the region and take independent steps of their own.

Its pretty widely reported that they accurately hit targets near Tehran.
If they could do that from Iraq, then they have even more capability, but i consider that they did actually fly over Iran.

I'm not questioning the facts.... just the general strategy of the site. Facts can be included or left out. This site appears to rely on a factually based approach which can be more subtle than a game of thrones twitter approach.

Overall, I get the feeling that the iranians dont want war or push israel into the sea and the israelis want to take the current opportunity to establish greater israel and probably want to destroy iran's nuclear ambitions....but I dont read enough sites to know any of the to's and fro's of the daily battles. I'll leave that to khalessi

well we can agree that trump will be doing tours of new york preening about the assistance that he is giving....

Up until he realises they still hate him, but are sucking up to him for his Israeli war support. When it doesn't shift the voters in NY and they still publicly call him an imbecile, he could easily turn on them, or if the Saudis offer more money to isolate Israel in favour of the new NEOM city as the tech centre of the Middle East.

Interesting that the stock market is surging with predictions of trump winning.... and his promises of tariffs etc. And the narrative that the democrats represent the establishment.

A stock market surges when people with money expect to make more money....so it's ironic that trump is being supported by people who complain of hurting financially. Bad luck suckers!!

the lobby has both bases covered...just done it differently with trump. I expect he wants the money in a bag.

I'm not sure whats happening with the arabs overall, although I think they're being tempted by choosing money over islam
