Mid East Israel declare war after Hamas attack III

You can argue the validity of the promised land on logic if you want, but the people making the decisions in israel believe that they are the chosen people and they were promised the promised land by yahweh. And the amazing thing is evangelicals believe that jews have to attain the promised land before jesus returns and everything ends and they can all go to heaven. Argue historical facts all you like.....these are religious facts.

There are no religious facts.........99% of it is make believe.

it's as simple as Zionists believe they are entitled to the land, anyone else is not. And the Zionists have all of the advanced weaponry with western support. Palestinians have neither the weaponry or the support.

The only real solution (2 state solution) to peace in the region is something neither side want, or at least i should say the governments of each side dont want. Which means essentially giving up their own claim to said land to ensure both can live together.

it's just a proper shit sandwich over there, and it's just put in the too hard basket by most other countries.

joe biden is a catholic and a self-proclaimed zionist.

The pope has questioned whether gaza is a genocide.....

You have to wonder which side old joe is going to take. I think his zionist side wins.

Ask the chosen people and the evangelicals what the facts are...

As for palestinians not wanting a two state outcome, israel will never give them that choice...

Which don't actually entitle them to anything other than delusion.

The "promised land " was from Arish, which is a bit inside Egypt, to the Euphrates, which is a LOT inside Syria and Jordan, and a bit inside Iraq.

Their god later sat down and had a few beers with Isaac, and decided they could have the Red Sea , to the Mediterranean, to the Euphrates, bordered by the desert. So pretty much all of it.

They got their little bit of real estate in the area, talk about give an inch take a mile.

They'll claim Ethiopia soon too, the way they're going, because there was a king there one day.

hamas actually consists of a lot of palestinians...

but I dont think hamas has been asked recently. People seem to refer to material that is decades old. Not that I want to question our programming on this issue....

Not sure what you mean RE ask Hamas recently......Hamas literal charter calls for the destruction of Israel....they would have to drop that before they can talk about a 2 state wouldn't you think?

both them and Zionists want death to the other.

You should probably check the 2017 charter.

It accepts a two-state solution, without agreeing with Israel's claims, or legitimising what was done to the Palestinian people.

They also refer back to a superseded document, while ignoring the present reality of what Israel is actually saying and doing.

Its actual history.

Churchill was responsible for the famines in the British colonies of India during ww2.

The Bengal famine of 1943-44 occurred because of a number of reasons, including an increased military presence of hundreds of thousands of American, British, Indian, and Chinese troops as well as an influx of at least half a million refugees from Myanmar (Burma), both of which resulted in.an increased demand for food.

The Japanese invasion of Burma also cut off the import of Burmese rice into India placing increased demand on the rice-producing regions in India. Adding to this, the British military employed scorched-earth tactics in eastern and coastal Bengal because they were anticipating a Japanese invasion of British India via the eastern border of Bengal in order to deny the Japanese invaders access to food supplies and other resources. The British were also keen to deny Bengali transport to any invading Japanese army and so confiscated any boats large enough to carry more than ten people and commandeer other forms of transport which meant it was more difficult to carry rice to market for purchase by the population.

Other Indian states, including those ruled by Indian princes, imposed provincial trade barriers preventing trade in rice, wheat and other grains which added further to the problem of securing food in Bengal. The British certainly provided preferential distribution of limited goods and services including food to workers in high-priority war industries in Bengal. This policy of prioritised distribution was certainly one cause (but not the only) cause of the famine.

Western Govt: We're not sure if they deliberately blew up the hospital

IDF: We've deliberately blown up all the hospitals.

Western Govt: We're not sure they're ethnically cleansing the place.

IDF General: We're ethnically cleansing the place.

Western Govt: They have the right to defend themselves.

the IDF said the quote about cleansing was all a mistake..... the guardian just has it in for the jews in general and this is just another example of anti-semitism...
