Very disappointing, but I'm almost relieved. Our season has effectively been over for months, and it's nice for it to be official now.

Forward line was way too static towards the end. Happens all too often in close matches. Seems nobody wants to make the play.

Sheldrick going down seemed to turn the game.

He was just destroying them in the middle and then Richmond owned the contest from then on.

I've been an advocate for the McDonald/Amartey/McLean forward set-up, but Buddy was clearly our best key forward tonight IMO.

• We keep playing KP players as the sub, and it never works. Ridiculous from the match committee to keep making this same mistake over and over how hard is it to get the sub right? Seriously
• The difference in the game was literally the fact for whatever reason we have to concede a last minute goal in every ****ing qtr.
• Errol best again and will win the B&F easily.

In a game that required speed and clean hands once the rain came, we were too tall, too slow and too fumbly.

Buddy and McLean once again failed as a forward line combo.

Francis’ lack of speed is debilitating.

Weird weird season. Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. Injuries, bounces, shanks to take the lead, strong wind gust on after the siren kicks... Plain odd. I dead set don't think we've been playing that bad. If anything I think we've been holding our own for the most part.

We are literally shit luck away from being on the cusp of the top 4. Horse and the players just needs to see the remainder of our games as an extended preseason and crack it out. Weirdly enough I don't think our season is done. We can win our next 4.

My only gripe is in tight games like this horse sets up from full back rather than rolling the dice. I can see the logic in putting mills and gulden as last line but when it's all or nothing you're better off putting all the chips on the table trying to create something higher up the ground. Unfortunately I think Lloyd out is what lost it.

Papley should not be a leader- has become such a selifsh player this year not even working hard like usual

No other coach takes their best midfielder out of the midfield when they're getting obliterated in clearances/midfield battle and throws him behind the ball to limit the damage.

We were up by 2-3 goals still ffs.

First one arguably off the back of Roos work. Remaining have been loses. Two blow outs and one fairy tale.

Watching the game plan, there is no second or third plan but a very predictable throw magnets around and hope.

Hickey is cooked. No mobility in contest. Blood the youth.
Franklin still has it but lloks to be detrimentap to our overall structure. We revert to bombing. Look so much better when he isn't in.
Francis is depth. 26th player type.

Hayward did some nice things.

Hey that's one of his 2 go to moves, it's hard to mix it up when he can't pull his other move and send Reid behind the ball

I was just watching tonight and every two minutes thinking "Why are we set up like that?"

It's a coaching problem and I don't just mean Horse. All the coaching on every line needs to address it. Everyone is too often not where they should be and I don't believe that players would be that insubordinate and still get games.
