Aren’t we allowed to have an opinion anymore? I know the ones living in WA have had a sheltered two years but you can’t stop a virus. Both of us had it two weeks ago and are fine. If you'd come on here and posted your own opinion re: Darling, rather than your housemates I'd imagine it would have been better received as it currently feels like you came on here with an agenda - 'I want to hear your perspective, but i've already formed my opinion and will disagree with those who post otherwise'.

However, the majority of Australians are pro-vax so it's likely the majority of this board would have disagreed with your opinion regardless. It's always going to be dicey to post an opinion on an opposition board, and even more so when it relates to something as frustrating as the Darling situation. I'm of the opinion Chris Scott is a garbage coach, and Selwood is a whingey campaigner that will hopefully give away 10 50m penalties a match this year with the new timewasting rules, however I wouldn't go out of my way to post that on the Cats board.

As for your comments re: WA, that's just more baiting of this board. I live in NSW so i've also had it and barely noticed symptoms, but vaccination (and particularly with Omicron) has never been about healthy 20-30 year olds, so i fail to see the relevance.

Why should Jack Darling a fit bloke in his late 20s be mandated a vaccine when politicians aren’t? Most of them are far older and more likely to suffer from their own choices. If the Fed Parliament doesn’t want to introduce a mandate there’s not much the AFL can do about that, but the majority of states in which the league operates have made it a requirement to be vaccinated to play professional sport so they don’t have a lot of choice in passing that on.
