I called it last year. The next Milne!
I hope that doesn’t mean what I would normally take it to mean… random player thread bumps are scary enough as it is through injuries!

Happy to say he has been in my 2022 round 1 team for a few months now. Looked like an AFL player from the first time he played AFL.I called it last year. The next Milne!

No not in this case. Speaking purely on playing ability if the stars align Ginnivan has “it” to a level which will allow him to make a similar on field impact, IMO (talking 2+ goals a game over a 10 year career). The only reference I’d make to the similarity in what made Milne hatable is the way in which he finds high contact which we’ll love and will become unpopular very quickly.I hope that doesn’t mean what I would normally take it to mean… random player thread bumps are scary enough as it is through injuries!
Not too much smaller as he is just over 6ft in the old money. Take your point, though. The only frees he gets are for above the shoulder and most times the free is there.
Similar to the Bulldogs’ Weightman. I think it’s just bad tackling technique against smaller (annoying) opponents.
I haven't seen a real pattern emerge of him playing for frees.
And, keep the lights on!lock up your daughters
He's got a technique of dropping the shoulder at a tackler and then exaggerating the contact. Free has to be paid because it is high contact. But it won't be popular. The only frees he gets are for above the shoulder and most times the free is there.

Look I have no problem with acknowledging Selwood's courage or skill - but - when you deliberately aim your head and run at an opposition players hand that's beyond the pale for me.
I don't dislike Selwood but I am disgusted at such courage and skill being polluted by crass opportunism.
What infuriates me is there is no way the umpiring panel can not be aware that he does it, by turning a blind eye they encourage it and so our game becomes a little bit more like soccer where staging is endemic and youngsters seeing him getting away with it are encouraged to copy.

All jokes aside, Milne was one of the best small forwards to play the game. Over 550 goals at 2 goals a game.No not in this case. Pendles has done it occasionally over his career but not to the extent of Selwood and others. Ginnivan does go low into contests which will draw more frees than most players.Pendles has always done the same thing….. just saying.
No comment on either the post or the like.Pendles has always done the same thing….. just saying.
Cornes is a try hard shock jock looking for the next thing to get angry about
No current season stats available
I understand the point that Cornes was attempting to make but I'm sure that the CFC media department would have prepped the lad before he took to the field with his GoPro. Not that I'm endorsing Cornes at all, but this type of 'American Style' bravado will surely invite a small dose of Hubris. I prefer my winners humble and more reserved typically.
Let's be honest - you have no idea who I hate.Let's be honest if the tonic didn't wear the black and white stripes we would all hate him
He does have a bit of swagger about him and yes I probably would not enjoy it from an opposing player but he plays for us and I have no problem with him or his celebrations which I think may infuriate many in the future, he is quite a talent and very young still.Let's be honest if the tonic didn't wear the black and white stripes we would all hate him
