Agree. Has the skill set required of a number 1 DP and to be a very good player. Good skills by foot and is the quickest 6 foot 6 player I have seen. Except maybe buddy.

Give me decent fitness and I could play loose man in defence in the AFL.
Watts needs to bulk up and or he will continue to look like a fairy out there.

Watts was a very underage pick. Slow bloomer and maybe not a Riewoldt style CHF but the kid has skills. Getting stronger by the week. Like the way he's being played in defense.
If he improves his tank he might be a Goddard-style elite utility.

Fair dinkum, there are times when BigFooty amazes me. Genuinely talented kids like Watts and Hawkins who are young talls who will take a little time to settle in are labelled spuds, and yet a rugby player in his mid 20s with no real talent is called a potential superstar 
Yeah, Give me the extreme fitness, extreme speed and vertical jump height. Then throw in the mental things as vision and awareness. Give me god like hands for a strong mark. Then just throw in the elite kicking and hand-balling skills and i could play a loose-man in defense aswell

He is considerably better than Naita at this point in time.
At the start of their careers Naita lacked awareness and game sense, whilst Watts lacked confidence.
Confidence is a lot easier to learn than natural skills.
