Not the one I listened to... I didn’t hear any mention of Jeremy
Because he wasn’t mentioned at all, not by name.

I must have heard the same conference you did.

i know im bias ...but hes a freak...and a natural footballer...he will stay very very fit and slot back in like he had never left...but fitter and stronger

Just hope he Learnt his Lesson and does not even think of having another Bet

Not sure how he can look his team-mates in the eye and hope we can overcome this.

So Maggie5 would it be good idea to Trade Him as he no longer have Respect and Trust at Collingwood?

Of course we are on his side and always will be but this is a Hiroshima mistake just like the Essendon drug scandal IMO............don’t tell the die hard Pies supporters to “relax” we are seriously hurting over this.

I just saw his stats for 2019 on Foxfooty and he was Elite in 4 of the 5 stats.........the other one was above average.
We just can’t replace him this year.

Him being “young” doesn’t cut it sometimes........let him know he has a long way to go to earning back our respect.
understand your all hurting as i am....but im just encouraging you to all stick fat with him...he will repay in spades....u guys are definitly good enough to get to the finals with out him...he will be the cheery on the cake come finals time...and not tired or sore...fresh as a daisy

God ****ing damn it, I go away for one day and another star is gone, it's gonna take a miracle to win this flag

Scottie65 you have to Admit what he did was Very Stupid and should of had more Sense then to bet on himself and Collingwood more then Once.

I dare say he is a Great Kid but his Descion Making this season off-field was not very good.

Sorry the Media will keep bringing it up for at least rest of his Career
No the media won’t.
Once he plays well it will move with the sands of time.

Except with this matter, when does anyone in the mention heath and betting?
They don’t. Ancient history.
Anyone mention Crisp even once till this incident?
I’d forgotten all about it.

He’ll be back a bit brighter. Then we’ll all move on (I hope).

Sam McClure is going with the Jeremy Howe story but still using words like allegedly, so I’m not sure this is factual. Not saying it isn’t, but...
It does cast doubts that on the presser where Stephenson said he was feeling uneasy and self-reported if his own volition?

I too am feeling angry and don't accept some of the things I am reading.

I don't blame mates, nor do I think that 20 (15/1/1999) is young especially after the induction on gambling they receive. Further to bet on himself and his team?

He didn't do it once, he did it three times and I am inclined to believe that someone else was going to blow the whistle or someone has told him to own up.

Think there is a bit of arrogance there and not naivety.

Not sure how he can look his team-mates in the eye and hope we can overcome this.

He's young Maggie and he stuffed up. Guys take a bit longer to mature than girls (in my estimations about 20 years longer), but that's no excuse. I agree the 2 things the players would get most educated on are drugs and gambling.

I would like to believe that he feels like cr*p but that his teammates will give him an opportunity to regain their trust. I have been given 2nd chances in life and I'm grateful for them.

Not sure you should feel so mortally wounded.
He doesn't need to earn back our respect.
He's a 20 year old footballer who made a silly mistake and seems like an incredible likable kid.
Actually appears to be the type of kid a parent would want their son to be.
This kids biggest actual mistake was owning up and letting himself become the AFL's poster boy for anti gambling ........... for players that is.
As for the rest of us, if you're attending or watching any game this week, get out your mobile, ur about to get a crash course on how to place a bet.

We are Collingwood we always stick fat mate...........but some of us (like me) are sick of us “shooting ourselves in the foot”.

Let him know he won’t find a more loyal and passionate supporter base........but he has let us down......that part cannot be escaped.

This is not an anti gambling crackdown, it's an anti corruption crackdown.

Sorry mate that is how I feel atm........he is irreplaceable..........missing out on the top four because of his suspension is a possibility you need to acknowledge.........because I have already have.

That is why I am “mortally wounded” as you say.

That is silly talk Dave, why would you think of trading him?

He has made a huge mistake, copped a penalty that he will serve out. No need to give him a life sentence.

The players, club and supporters will get over it just like I will in time but at the moment, not very happy about it.
