Welcome to last night. It is clear the Aish is either headed to Collingwood or Carlton. It is split 50/50 on where he ends up according to media reports and anonymous sources.

I say it will Depened what happens in the Highly Possible Treloar Trade and IF pies are willing to trade Future Picks or not

Crisp wanted to go home to Victoria anyway, so I'm not sure how different it would be.

Crisp might of gone elsewhere(Glad he did not) Wasn’t the Dons Interest in him?

The Beams trade probably been Pick 5 + Aish

Sure, but we weren't exactly going to get a good pick for Crisp if he was traded alone. He had played 6 good games at the rear end of last season but I doubt we were going to get a second round pick out of Essendon (as an example).

If the trade would've been that, it comes down to Aish vs. pick 25 and whatever pick for Crisp.

We gave up Pick 67 in the Trade and I guess you could say that was for Crisp

He fits SOS category of elite youth talent and we all know SOS loves his elite youth talent.

Depends if Brisbane want Tom Bell or draft picks.

If Aish had have given us some sort of indication, I think we would have done that deal. It's something I would have been happy with. Rumour was he was going to Essendon, until we reached an impasse in negotiations and he put his hand up. As a Lions supporter, I would have love to keep Crisp. He showed a hell of a lot in his last few games with us. But you have to give quality to get quality. We're all happy with the deals we got.

My thoughts exactly. Pickers visited his parents in SA that week so i think it could of been on the cards.

Im not annoyed aish is leaving or if he nominates collingwood. Im more pissed at who blocked him getting there last trade period. Could of been pick 5 and aish for beams and smiles all round.
From memory member on the Pies board who had a source said that Aish was open to being a part of the trade last year but after the 'go home 5' of the previous year, the decision was made not to release any first year player in a trade under any circumstance. They backed themselves in to convince Aish to stay.

Can't say I can blame them for trying, but it would have saved 12 months of heartache for Lions supporters to just get the trade done.

Very True - Neither Lions or Pies would Complain on what they got

You have more players pressing eject than anyone at the moment, you may need him to fill out one of the 22

Pretty sure you have more players from your team then us hitting the road best of luck being the wooden spoon team for the next 5 years

Give it a rest, both of you.

I please don't be true, that would be massive overs

Why? People saying Crisp was no good when Traded but Look at him now.
