Why don't we speak with other clubs to see who has academy or f/s next year and trade the 2 x f3's for their f2? Then give that to GWS. There must be a reason we are holding on our F2...i still won't rule out a deal with North for them to drop back from 2 to 4 on the night with us and we need it for that.

Don’t Brisbane and GCS have cheap of academy players coming through next year?

Surely one of them would be interested in some pick swaps to keep GWS happy.

At this stage it is rarely something not already out in the media. We are likely tied in with the Essendon Stringer deal and haggling to keep as much as we can. But it’s highly unlikely - given our list spots and current draft position - that we are doing anything more than an F2 (maybe change of F3 or something) for Peatling

Maybe we are the lucky club this year that has to pretend this is a last minute deal for Fox Footy. Usually Essendon are reserved for this sort of thing.
