Crows have acknowledged it publicly - think it was even addressed in the CEO update email that went out recently.

I'd be talking to North and saying we might look at moving on former Victorian pre-agents next year and then letting them do the research that Tom Doedee is that guy who might be thrown into a deal.

So just trying to summarise what Port have / need. They are trying to do

Rioli for pick 33
Ratugolea for pick 43
Horne-Francis - Pick 8 and future 1st

Also have picks 53, 57, 60

They can't trade their future second if they trade their future first but could trade their future third.

Only way I could see it happening is they got say a future 3rd for Bonner. Then combined their two future 3rds for a second round this year if someone is willing. Even then I don't see how they manage all three without parting with a better player.

If they do that deal the PA list manager gets a knighthood.
Horne-Francis - Pick 8 and future 1st. A future 1st could be pick 14 -18. That a steal. With those 3 additions PA should improve massively.
We could offer pick 5 and future 1st to gazzump PA .

why not also have a throw the stumps at Jason Horne-Francis, particularly while the Power and the Roos remain poles apart on what needs to be done? It may be 100-1, but why not engage with the Suns on a creative way to utilise pick No.5? And then obviously offer your first pick in next year's draft, as well as a very good player? But I bet they won't because this club has become pretty boring.

I still see this similar to Judd going to Carlton and having to give up Kennedy, Poort are going to have to give up a player of substance.

They can't fathom why they should have to pay more.

I doubt it's as clear cut as that but I guess he has picked his club and to keep everyone focussed on the trade his Manager has to throw that around.

Ben Williams (married to Jade Robran) lives in Adelaide so I'd say the two local clubs have a fairly good relationship with him.
