The Adelaide board's top thread is about a player that has requested a trade to Port Adelaide. How insecure can you be? Their whole existence is a reaction to The Port Adelaide Football Club. Can you imagine a situation where that would happen on our board? Lol.

Sadder than that even, you have West Coast supporters posting in there like they're some entitled, put upon, band of brothers lol. Think about that for a second... These "football incels" support a club that has a player that has expressed interest in going to our club and then go running to a completely unrelated club's forums to post simply because they feel some sort of shared kinship in their hate for us. OMG. This feels just like the old days. I love it. Love us or hate us.

I get this horrible feeling if I do I’ll get stuck there and will never return.

If I go over there its a guaranteed minimum 24 hour ban. Not during trade week.

I understand not wanting to cough up a decent young player and get it done with only picks but we're going to have to be the side that overpays here. It's just not worth the risk letting him get through next year with the option of either staying at North or Adelaide opening the door. Rozee, Butters, George and Marshall should be the only players off the table. Get JHF in the door and we have the core to build around long term and still contend now.

The north board is mind boggling, a complete lack of self awareness about where they are actually at as a club, I personally wish we just waited the 12 months til he was out of contract its mind numbingly frustrating.

With all the stuff ups and the state of their club and this is the hill they want to die on, it is truly bizarre, take your frustrations out on your administration and accept some responsibility for the situation you're in after Brayshaw pulled you from the edge of death, instead of using a kid and the club he wants to go to as your scapegoats.

Ex players come onto their board and administration to run the club and absolutely destroyed it. Brad Scott told them what they needed to do and they went for him.

I just don't understand why we seem to be rolling over including West Coast in this three way when it is so obvious all they are trying to do is shaking Georgiades loose. If Norf aren't happy to take 2 x first round picks and a second, they are not going to take 2 and a second.

And to be honest I'm not sure losing 8, next years first, next years second and a good player is a worthwhile deal for us and we might as well wait till next year.

Come the last day North accept 8 and our future first.

And that’s all it should be.
An AFL player would be more likely to accept a trade to Flinders Park than Norf.

Two reasons I can see:

1. North think highly of Port's chances next year, west coast dont leading to different valuations of our future first rounder. We want to trade it to whoever values it most.

2. North are looking for quality over quantity. They already have a stack of first round picks on their list but lack real match winners. West coast are just starting a rebuild and need bulk top end picks.

No way we're paying 2 firsts, a 2nd and a good player. Not even peak dusty is worth that. In the history of trades that's never happened for a single player.

Honestly we go with the 2 X first rounders, if they want more then stuff it honestly. Why the we paying so far overs.

The big talk of Clarkson will make him stay and get the best out of him, Clarkson is a 50/50 whether he coaches again and North are looking more likely to end up in Tassie.

The other talk of he'll play VFL all next year. Ok fine, but then 2 first rounders aren't popping out then.

I just don't think we can make North happy.

West coast have always (well in the 20 years I’ve been here) had the media in there back pocket.
Everything bad about there club gets swept under the carpet and hidden for as long as possible.
On the other hand Freo (bit like us ) get trashed at every opportunity.

Yeah but Carlton have always had big support.
Norf have never had any support even going back into the 70s.
I seen them win there first GF 80% of there supporters that day was people from other clubs because everybody hated Hawthorn.
