Wouldn’t we still be giving our future second to WC though?
Then If we get pick from Brisbane we would have to keep it as that’s our only future 2nd.
Oh sorry yeah, I misunderstood. Yes, we wouldn't be able to trade out both future seconds.

If we get these deals done without any player leaving I'd be very surprised. Someone needs to leave to get these 3 in.

Best case scenario would be JHF, Rioli and Esava

Worst case scenario would be Rioli and Esava
For all his faults Clarkson is nothing but pragmatic; the deal will be done.

It just remains to be seen if North can chisel Pick 2 from the Eagles, to facilitate North trading Pick 1 to GWS (and new assistant coach Monty).

If Clarkson is running thing's during this trade period, what's the chances he remembers us insisting on a player with the Wingard trade and taking one of the Hawks best youngsters.

Rucci bringing up we need to trade Goargie again ffs. Jackson and Rankine deals apparently done.

Rucci's doing this so that when the trade gets done without losing MG he can somehow put it down to the genius of Ken Hinkley and why his contract should be extended.

Obviously a man who didn’t watch Jason play this year.
You are correct JHF was often the 3rd most centre bounce attendee in your team for much of his games, especially in the first half of the season. Tapered off a bit, then increased again.

Edit: But Janus wasnt wrong too. (See his answer post)

Why would they do that? You really think the Adelaide media want to drown out a Crows story? Lol
The Adelaide media aren't the one dictating the timing of this trade m8

The media will front page any breaking story, and the JHF deal is naturally bigger than the Rankine deal anyway. If you are waging a PR war (which Port have been this year, quite aggressively) then you give them a few hours for the Rankine story to spread and gain minimum traction, then launch your own big story such that Rankine is old news.

Yes, you were switching him between half-forward and midfield - 32.2% of Centre Bounces Attended means 67.8% of the time he was at half-forward. I'm telling you that for a young kid with the talent of Horne-Francis, that's not his jam and he should have been deep forward for 67.8% of the time. You should have put him in Zurhaar's spot, moved Zurhaar to replace Ziebell and punted Ziebell wherever he fit because he's over 30 and not going to be a part of your next flag.

For those playing at home, according to the same stats, Zak Butters attended 33.9% of CBAs for Port, and Connor Rozee attended 49.6%. These two also rotate between half-forward and midfield.

That's pretty impressive for a 1st year player to have 100% TOG.

And for those of us playing at home are you comparing how often a first year player attends centre bounces to how often 4th year players do?
