The Adelaide media aren't the one dictating the timing of this trade m8

The media will front page any breaking story, and the JHF deal is naturally bigger than the Rankine deal anyway. If you are waging a PR war (which Port have been this year, quite aggressively) then you give them a few hours for the Rankine story to spread and gain minimum traction, then launch your own big story such that Rankine is old news.

You started with the fact that the Adelaide media are not dictating the timing but then I think you got lost. When the Horne-Francis deal is completed it will hit the headlines regardless as to what Adelaide do simply because there are likey to be more than two clubs involved. Whether it happens before or after Rankin is immaterial as it will be the biggest news in the trade period. On that basis I do not think Port give a toss about Adelaide's trades we will do what we have to and let the fans know when the deal is done.

That's pretty impressive for a 1st year player to have 100% TOG.

And for those of us playing at home are you comparing how often a first year player attends centre bounces to how often 4th year players do?
32.2% of CBA does not equate to 32.2% TOG.

My point isn't whether Horne-Francis played midfield minutes or not. It's about where he should have been playing when he wasn't in the midfield. You don't stick match winners who have kicked 5 goals in a final at half-forward.

Mega Super Deal - "I'll be back"

Just seems like a mega deal,

Not enough teams for it to be the mega super we were promised

You're right. The AFL dictate the timing of trades... this whole trade period is stage managed.

That's why the JHF trade will not be done today but probably on Wednesday afternoon.

Am I reading that right.

In front of AFL for approval means teams have agreed to it?
I'd assume so, but until its signed by all players/agents and the AFL its not done.

It would be great to stop hearing about our players who don’t want to go, that are suspected to be leaving to get the deal done.

Assuming we get it done with draft picks, hearing Rowies tears tonight will be a thing of beauty...
Pretty sure it had been agreed to before AFL stopped future second,so not surprised it's hopefully been agreed to with a little tweaking
