Yeah but that doesn't explain the origins of it, which are here:

I didn't want to take up the rest of his day by getting him to read a long REH post 😄

Two-time North Melbourne premiership player David King was left “extremely frustrated” by the club’s decision to let go of both pick one and last year’s top pick Jason Horne-Francis, labelling it the “full stop” to a horror period.

The Kangaroos were part of the biggest trade deal in AFL history, when four clubs came together for what’s been dubbed the mega trade of 2022.
But King wasn’t impressed by the blockbuster trade, claiming his former club is in “crisis”.

“Horne-Francis was pick one – gone, pick one this year – gone. They’ve given up two pick ones for two and three. I don’t understand it at all,” he said on Trading Day. “You can’t cry about spilt milk (after turning down Adelaide’s deal for pick one last year). “They’ve been dudded. It just puts a full stop on an awful period.”

Cute that he thinks its a full stop

They have a coach with a racism scandal over his head and a footy department 2 coaches down just to pay for him

David King putting on a brave face in close-ups, but in wide shots he looks like someone's made him drink a pint of diarrhoea.
King said we are the winners of the trade deal and a big chance for the flag

Haha I expect a Rucci article saying how brilliant we were in not giving up Georgiades to get WCE to budge, by 11am tomorrow at the latest, either on the club's website or Indaily.

So we need Freo and Collingwood to fall off a cliff and us to win the premiership next year to make this a big win.
The death riding thread has already been started.

I don't see their issue about not having pick one. If they weren't going to pick Cadman they are better off and they were able to make the trade happen.

I say good on them for making it happen - it was just going to be a 12 month clusterf**k otherwise.

Our recruitment team is just out of this world. Our temperament to target players and stick true to what values the club and it's best interest is just untouchable. Multiple first round picks to target players in various years and trading out of drafts we don't value and genius trading to bring in core pieces around those young players. Yes this is a turning point in our team but more importantly it's the kind of behaviour that us as supporters can get behind and have faith that the club is taking the right direction forward.

Can't wait to see this young core of elite talent together for the next decade of power
