This video captures the exact moment that JHF decided he was definitely joining Port.
Yep.

Definite Deliverance vibes.

I bet in Thom the 'h' isn't silent. It's how he would roll.

What the heck!! Which idiot reporter asked about how excited Port was for the Crows signing.
A typical insular question from one of the ambassadors. Totally disrespectful to CD and JHF.

And batted off well by CD. A lesser man would have got up and stuffed that microphone down his throat - speaking from a 'South Australian perspective' of course.

Considering Jason has been smashed from pillar to post from trolls, the media and dissappontingly members of his former club it's a credit to him that he managed to get up and speak relatively well.

This past year has seemed like hell for him and the last week must've been the climax of a crappy period.

Another reason why JHF was going to get to Port is his manager Ben Williams.

Ben was the winner of the original Big Brother in 2001 and ended up in sports management and set up his own company Players Ink in 2006. He looks after Rugby League and Rugby Union Players as well as AFL players including Connor Rozee. He's a bit unique in that he has players from those 3 codes.

He was in the Stan series earlier this year about player managers - Show Me The Money. I saw about 15 minutes of the 2nd or 3 episodes.

I saw his wife in that and she looked familiar so I looked up his companies details, and found out he is married to Jade Robran of 5AA and former 7 sports reporter, 15 years ago when she was working for 7 in Sydney. They are also business partners, and he floats between Adelaide and Sydney with the job. ( Jade is Barrie Robran's niece).

I found the following photos on her Instagram when I was trying to find out more about them after watching the Stan doco, which said Ben was JHF's manager. Harry would never have forgiven dad for not stitching up Jason for Port.

Just 14 months ago, months before the draft. I was at Alberton Oval watching Port vs South. Horne-Francis playing for South.

Throws me back to this text I got from a crows/south supporter during the game.

CD speaks well - no BS. Honest and transparent and more than willing to highlight the hard work and goodwill of others, not just those in his own club.

A credit to our club.
Also like that CD really emphasised Jase's good character after all the malicious rubbish that's been said about him in the last couple of weeks. I expect the players have all been in touch with him as well since the trade (and probably before ;)).
