Looking forward to Adam Goodes being asked for his take on what is essentially another outbreak of brain dead bullying on the booing front.

Also - complete and utter credit where credit is due - Hinkley showing what was always believed about him in terms of relationships and demonstrating the sort of role he should be doing, excelling in at a club, as opposed to senior coaching.

Yep.

Hinkley putting on such a public display of support for his young gun and angrily calling out the media trolls for their gutless bullying was brilliant, despite everything else.

And David King defending his gutless bullying by pretending it is just part of a feud with another commentator (Cornes) just demonstrates his cowardice.

I wasn't at the game but am I being naive. It's our home game, why weren't the booers at least drowned out? Where was our crowds support in the first quarter?

how do you 'drown out' people booing?

I mean seriously, tell me how?

Because I was at that game. And what we did was let that young man take hold of the game by the balls and deliver a last quarter in a come from behind victory anyone would be proud of.

That's how brave kids respond to bullying. And thousands of Port supporters letting him know what they thought.

You should have been there to see it. And hear it.

Because I can tell you it was a heck of a lot more satisfying than worrying about the couple of hundred cowardly smooth brains who thought that booing a kid on the field is what supporting their team is about and who rushed to leave without a whimper when the game ended.
