The faux concern that the norf nuffies have on their deathride thread for JHF's fake gambling problem is pathetic. Acting as if they genuinely care about this kid's mental health even though they've been spending the last half a year flaming him on social media (and now inventing a gambling problem).

Can't wait to see them win another few spoons and get moved to Tassie

There is some truely disturbing things going on over on that thread.

What I love most though is that that thread is 4x longer than both their Sheezel and Wardlaw threads. Heck it has twice as many responses as those two combined still!

They are so hurt by him leaving still that rather than focus on their own new and highly rated players, they just rather keep talking absolute rubbish.

I also hope none of the North players or family drive a Mazda. According to their logic, they are about to lose some draft picks if so.

King is as much to blame as anyone for this bullshit. But he also has a point about Kane stirring it up as well.

Kane has on twitter and other social media platforms purposefully and deliberately poked and poked and poked. I have no issue with North fans fighting back. We would too. I would have no issue with North fans boo-ing their hearts out when we play them. We would too.

Have they gone too far? Yes. We would have had fans that would've too.

But Kane has made it broader than just North and Port for his own benefit and it is now impacting on a young man.

Kane needs to STFU
King needs to STFU

If they both do that, they might miss out on clicks and profile. But it would benefit all who are actually involved - Port, North and most importantly, Jason.

There are probably 200 or so Norf fans that have been completely unhinged on Bigfooty. I suspect this has flown under the radar for alot of people who disappear from the site in late September. You only have to look at the JHF thread on the main board and the deathride thread on the North board to a) realise Cornes has nothing to do with it and b) that it is worse than a bit of banter for a group of supporters. Absolute filth. Carrying on when he immediately went under the knife while at Port, hoping he got sepsis, linking him to his step father's behavior from 15 years ago because he hyphenated his name, calling him a feral, calling him stupid (not in a hah hah, that was dumb, but a classist you're beneath us way). All of this was while TT has had his issues, Powell's father has had issues in court, archer plays at the club etc. They're a shitruck joke of a club.

Be in absolutely no doubt, if Thilthorpe was a Victorian and wanted out after a year, the same people crucifying JHF would be saying something completely different. Two co-captains in Lynch and May are allowed to walk out on a club setting it back 5-8 years, but that's okay. Jeremy Cameron is allowed to demand a king's ransom so that multiple players leave GWS, and then walk to a contender for unders when his financial future is already secure citing a desire to be at a strong club. Grundy gets forced out of Collingwood still under contract. Lobb's girlfriend buys a house with him still under contract knowing that he is going to refuse to play at the club after they shelled out a shit ton of money/ picks for him. Bruhn/Henry leave as 2nd year players to no fanfare. Walker was called petty for taking verbal jabs at lever for walking out after 3 years. GWS/GCS/Crows were all accepted as places the Vic sides go to pillage when they needed to top up. The idea that players don't leave early in their career is nonsense. North basically had someone run around with sacks of cash trying to poach top players in the league. They were chest beating after Polec/Pittard's first year at Norf. Now they have buyer's remorse and it's our fault that they're still paying Polec to play ammos somewhere. Player movement happens all the time. first year, second, third, it doesn't matter. By leaving after 1, he maximized the return to North. We didn't try to **** them, we emptied our pockets. They turned down an offer which with the benefit of hindsight would have been a disaster for Adelaide (Dawson, Rankine, Rachelle for JHF). They knew that his step dad was a Port man, that JH changed his name to JHF, that he had spent time at Port during his draft year. They had all the available information. But Port are underhanded being in regular contact with JHF, just like every club with our young players.

Cornes is a needy self-absorbed attention seeker, but the idea that he has made any difference to this is nonsense. The Victorians and North in particular are sooks. They really don't like the fact that Rankine/JHF/ Jackson all left in one hit. They don't like that they have to think about who they draft like Adelaide did for years. Like McCartney admits GWS still do. The main reason JHF is at Port is due to GWS being too afraid to draft Vic Metro kids. They set picks on fire to get Cadman. They injected the extra value needed to balance out our lack of currency because they didn't want to draft 3-4 Vic kids that they were going to have to vastly overpay in 2 years time to keep. If people don't like JHF leaving, they can go and suck a fat dick. JHF was looking like he might have 4 senior coaches in 12 months at the time he made the decision. BuT MuH PrOfFeSsIoNaLiSm.

Losing my mind at the idea that a mediocre $20,000 whip is what seduced the Francis family when Jason will retire with multiple millions of dollars where ever he plays. The North Brain must be analysed and studied. Rapidly becoming the most interesting craniums in the league after Essendon.

Look Ports mate we’re almost there but you’re really gonna need to throw in a middling Chinese compact SUV to get this thing over the line!

Watching Chelsea v Madrid and seeing Courtious booed by Chelsea fans. Now racking my brain trying to think of any player in world sports who gets booed by neutrals due to them leaving their previous club in acrimonious circumstances. Only in Australia. Pissant country.

What a good post!

Sure, but have you considered: his a flog

And also despite this apparently happening in a highly public place at a busy time and involving possibly the most scrutinised AFL footballer of all time, nobody has mentioned it anywhere outside of one loser on Bigfooty!

Has anyone checked Miles Bergman's location at the time?

Vinicius Jr gets booed for largely the same reasons as Goodes. But yeah, not the kinds of circumstances faced by JHF.

He is still a teenager.
I still get a bit of whiplash every time I remember that he’s younger than me, not too many drafts have come since I’ve been of draft age and it’s truly mesmerising to see him do what he does at his age.

How about Rory Lobb who has walked out on two clubs?
How about Rankine? Its crazy how he escapes criticism for leaving his club for an SA team in the same trade period.
Unlike JHF, Ranking left a club that doesn’t have a solid base of support, is considered by the vast majority of supporters to be a blight on the league and that they should fold, and is yet to even qualify for a finals spot.
Both players are obviously well within their rights to want to come home but regardless of Rankine lasting 4 years at GC compared to 1 at North for JHF, JHF did a ballsy thing that not many players would try and he actually left while his value on the trade was as high as it’d ever be.
Of course we know why this is, GC aren’t in Victoria and Rankine didn’t move to the “FeRaL” side of town.

Not sure I can see it happening for the next 10-15 years. People will get over it in a year or two.
People forget Bucks played for Brisbane that one year, they’ll definitely get over this. Though they probably forget about Buckley at a club that doesn’t exist in the same capacity, hopefully North meet a similar fate to them #tbh#tbh

Hahaha, maybe Miles Bergman has been going around getting in public fistfights with random Norf supporters and this is all a big case of mistaken identity.

if this was the real timeline I'd be over the moon.
