Spoke to my mate before our game on the weekend about Anderson and he said who’s that? Wasn’t saying that by the end of the game, bloke was great around the stoppages and has pace.
Great to see he has confidence in his body now. Big factor in the Roos improvement!

So rapt for Jed to be showing the form we always new he could produce now he is getting a good run at it.
Love what I'm seeing from Jed he sure has surprised me, but now i see why the Hawks supporters rated him and have hardly heard a negative thing from them.
He has gone from not being able to make our team last year when we were bottom four and had injuries aswell, to first picked as a starting mid.
Injuries and lack of confidence in his body held him back but he is a big part of North's surprise form this year.

Always had the ability....Was the best player out of the Territory since Cyril as a junior, in terms of skill-set & leadership.....Just had a horror-run of luck with illness & injury is all.
A lot of people forget that this lad was inches away from dying from a bad case of pneumonia he contracted when he went duck-hunting.....Lost 12-15 kgs & it's taken him this long to return to what his potential always said he would become.....Good on North for taking the gamble.
Yeah i remember hearing something about that, and i couldn't be happier for him now, didn't know how highly rated he was out of N.T I'll admit.
But yeah it looks like we are finally seeing what he is capable now.

When the game was in the balance at half time, he came out and had 14 disposals (9 contested) in the third quarter, and along with Goldstein and Simpkin, set up Norths win.

Hasn't this trade gone all which ways over the years for all involved - Hawks have ended up with Wingard, North feared we had a bust and now couldn't love Jed more.

The line I heard with Jed was he "wouldn't buy in" at Hawthorn, hence they were happy to trade him out.
He's certainly bought in at North, has already taken Jy Simpkin under his wing (along with Cunners) and the improvement in Simpkin's game and attitude is huge.
Wingard is the flakey, soft, pretty boy that goes missing in a real fist fight by hiding under a table. Anderson is fast becoming an A grader especially now that he is kicking goals on a regular basis. Organic improvement of his disposal skills would see his stock rise further.

This time next year he'll be everyone's favourite North player. Don't know how you couldn't love how he plays.
We loved jed but it was time for him to move, he’d stagnated with us and needed a change and very happy to see him going well, he’s a great player to watch. If he stayed with us there was a fair chance he wouldn’t be on a list right now.

Any truth to the "wouldn't buy in" line?
Comes across as a very mature and dedicated young man at North.
He loves winning contested footy, belting blokes legally and fishing just like his good mate Cunners.
Pretty straight up solid citizens in my book.

He's been playing great footy from Round One last year when he was finally fit.
But i still call bullshit that we delisted Hartung. This was the end of Brad Scott for me. Hartung could have been killing it as an explosive pressure mid.
