The bloke just can't quite get a full season at 100%. He's so good the coaches play him with injuries. Geelong have had huge problems in the midfield without Guthrie. They have had a few bad ones down the back too. But he has the ability.

To kick a hundred you've got to be able to kick them from anywhere and he can kick em from out of bounds! But seriously, he has the distance, the natural arc, the speed off the mark. He went off the boil after Cam Guthrie was injured. His problem this season has been service, then concussion, then shoulder.

I don't think the Cats are going to be world beaters again soon but apart from Curnow if he get's himself right to go again next season he'd be my first choice. All due respect to Tex, Hawk, et al.

Really, playing for a poor Geelong team? Unless they are getting some gun young midfielders the rest of us don't know about.

Larkey's kicked 62 in one of the worst teams in recent history. Tex has got 67 goals in a middling Crows side. Even Carlton were very hot and cold until the last two months.

kicked like 9 goals vs west coast to kick 76 goals.

Again.... Only way I see a player kick 100 goals in a season is the AFL regular season increases to 24 or even possibly 26 games. Then maybe add 2 or 3 finals too.
