The budding superstar, who is estimated to be worth $1 million a season on the open market, has formally rejected Greater Western Sydney overtures to sign a new long-term deal.

Cameron is contracted until the end of the 2015, but the Herald Sun understands Cameron will decide at the end of the season if he stays at GWS or seeks a move home to Victoria.

Chances are there is nothing in this article, as it seems convenient after 2 100 point losses by the Giants

But it does pose the question, if Cameron was to announce at the end of his contract he wanted to return to Melbourne

1) What kind of money would/should he get
2) What kind of deal would have to get the job done (remembering free agency doesnt apply yet for him)
3) Which clubs would be leading the chase

If this were to occur, i'd expect Carlton to be chasing pretty hard

So this is why all our players are taking pay cuts after seeing our list management presentation..

I would like it if a trade for him involved Bryce Gibbs or Jack Riewoldt.

You would have to trade absolute quality to get him. An A grade midfielder at least.

Or a KPD, but yes you are right. I'd be open for trading if we had the resources, we don't.
