I honestly believe we will have a dangerous Forward line next year, we have Cloke and Moore with the added possibility of Ben Reid.

We have Fasalo, Elliot and Howe who are both a handful as they play much taller than they are. Some people are discounting Fasalo but he was terrific in the last half of the year.

We have Swannie who will be spending more time in the forward line who can take a strong grab but also is great at ground level.

And I believe Broomhead will take Blairs spot and provide us with crumbing and zip in the forward line. On top of that I imagine we will have the midfield rotating through at time to time.

Exciting times ahead!
Let's not get carried away. Unless we have an 9 - man forward line, we can't possibly fit in Cloke, Moore, White, Swan, Howe, Elliott, Fasolo, Blair, and Reid. Add to that rotating mids...
Only 5 of these players will fit in the forward line, if we then also add a restng ruckman or midfielder there. BUT, the spectacular thing is that we at last have good options to mix and match setting up our forward line structure for any particular opponent.

Secondly, our forward line will be a lot more effective if our mids change the way they think when they deliver the ball in the forward line. Instead of the mindset of the first option to look for Cloke, just bombing the ball to him when he has 2 or 3 opponents, this option should be the LAST option. The first to fifth option should be to look to deliver the ball to 5 other forwards first.
This will make us very unpredictable to the opposition, which should make the defenders accountable, and therefore eliminate defenders double and triple manning Cloke. It will also make Cloke more effective.

Can't wait until round 1 !!!!!!

You can strike a line through Reid, as he has already been nominated as a defender by Buckley, and Blair will struggle to get games next year (he already got dropped a couple of times this year). I'd regard Swan as a rotating mid too.

The pressure on Cloke to kick goals won't be there because he will be kicking so many, the voices will hopefully go away then.

Cloke Might Kick Straight every 10 weeks or so

Seriously how many blokes do we have with Ink?
Swan White Elliott Howe Crisp Caff Cloke Williams are the most obvious ones. And a number that have less visible work done like Frost, DeGoey and undoubtedly others.

Balme quoted as saying that Howe "needs to stay off his foot". Playing suburban cricket is probably not part of his injury management plan...

At best it's very disappointing by someone who apparently wants to have a big year.

What if he took a cricket ball to his foot? That'd be great for his rehab

Sack Dalorean. Bung foot, now a bung finger.

Reportedly broke his finger playing cricket NOT throwing a plastic frisby with the "dog".

Must be sanctioned in addition to his injury. We're not paying him big bucks to muck around with mates and get injured.

Don't be ridiculous, the club has CONFIRMED that jeremy was simply running to catch a frisbee when suddenly out of no where his finger got caught in a hole in the earth (because he was running with his hand along the ground) and then it broke in a similar way to how a cricket ball would break a finger.

Surely you're not calling Jeremy a liar??

Media can't help themselves to make any Collingwood Bad News Story Bigger then it has to be

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/a...e/news-story/657c2a01826ce93c382b2e95555b99e7

Jeremy was playing an unauthorized cricket match and bowling pace on a foot that has a stress fracture.. when he was meant to be in rehab.

He then went and lied to the club about it, embarrassing them by getting them to back up his ridiculous lie publicly.

This is quite a big story, horrible behaviour by a new recruit who should have his head down trying to impress. Assuming Buckley does get to the bottom of this (and I suspect he will) don't be surprised to hear of Howe being sanctioned over the next few days.

According to his manager..."“He met his girlfriend at a dog park in Elsternwick and the dog must weight 45kg and he was throwing the frisbee and he put his hand down and the dog grabbed it and he jammed his finger into the ground".

Kappa at the end of the day this incident is a valuable lesson to Howe that playing for Collingwood is a lot different to playing for Melbourne.

The "alleged" truth is irrelevant at the moment for him or us.

Let's be thankful he didn't do an ACL playing frisbee/cricket.
