everyone talked about Bennells injuries at freo from 2016-19. Yeah he only played 2 or 3 freo games in 4 years.

I am not suprised he suffered depression and Mental health issues at freo because of all the injuries he had. Yeah he got drunk on a airport before his plane was going to take flight in 2016.

He also was drunk in 2017 during a peel game at half time. There was footage of him chatting to another Bennell relative who was playing for peel that day. (But you already knew that). So those were the 2 off field incidents at freo. Alcoholism didnt help his mental illness obviously. The only thing he wanted to do was play footy. It meant a lot to him just to play half a game for peel just to build his fitness. He did play a fair few peel games in 2017-19. He tried his best to get himself fit again and thats the least as a freo fan I wanted him to do.

He do anything stupid off field in 2018. He certainly didnt do anything stupid in mid 2019 when his 1st child was born. I actually wish him and his family the best. I hope the demons can pick him up as a rookie pick. Even when freo de-listed him, he went to other medical people to fix his legs. So far since that mid 2017 incident during half time at that peel game at the WAFL, he has done nothing wrong off field.

the talent was there. Whether his body can hold up to AFL level again is another question.

But you being a saints fan and post more about freo than the saints, you should know all about this....

Bennell wasn't drunk at the peel game he was under the influence of illicit drugs. He was under the influence of prescription medication on the flight mixed with alcohol.

Punched on with bouncers which saw his papers stamped. Was a waiting game after that. Bell came in and he was done. Only downside from Bells point of view was ross and rosich rushed through a new deal for him.

Also Bennell has a history of violence that Hogan does not. Was charged before due to his part in a brawl. Bennell also had issues with criminal elements and was publicly dressed down by a judge.

Like I said completely different to Hogan.

My original statement was that Hogan was nothing like Bennell. The issues are much more severe with Bennell. You are no longer arguing this which is an indicator that you concede on that issue.

Bennell has not had any publicly announced issues since the baby was born. But it's also a very small window of time given his history. You can be fine for months then completely go off the rails again.

I mean look at cousins he appeared fine. Everyone said how much he had changed with kids in his life and a supportive partner. Then something happens and he's back to his usual self destructive self.

Come on you're better than that, stop trying to take conversation away from the actual topic because a couple of trolls have said something you don't like, grow up, don't retaliate and just move on from them and worry about discussing Jesse Hogan. Same goes to the trolls just disregarding Hogan's issues as well, take that shit somewhere else if you aren't going to be civil.
 
Back on topic, Hogan should be kicking 50+ this year for Freo and they should be challenging for a top 8 spot. Hogan taking personal leave for reasons "wink wink" unknown is either selfish or life threatening, this could be the only 2 valid reasons for crapping all over the club who is paying him vastly overs. If it is life threatening then all the best..if the other then go take a good long hard look at yourself son for stealing 900k a year off them.

Hagdorn has a massive vendetta against Freo. Cried when Willie Rioli got caught by ASADA & is enjoying every moment going after a young man suffering from mental illness. He is a WCE cheerleader.
