Haha no good mate. Essendon are a ******* joke. If you can't beat that Collingwood team you are guaranteed the spoon.
It was looking good for 90% of the game haha.
Put a fork in em mate.

West Coast for flag vs GWS

Hard to judge on that game but am very reluctant to go for any of the higher rookie priced players from tonight.
Keeffe, Scharenberg, MacGrath and you can throw in Hoskin-Elliott and Stewart, all no from me, even after their limited game time.
Myers is still under consideration, however he'd want to do more and with a full game.

Agree on all but Hoskin Elliott. Not bad today with only 70% game time. Still keeping him in mind.

I know the squads haven't been cut down to 26 yet but I don't care I'm too excited with footy back just wanna talk about prospects!

Will only talk about Cats players because obviously Hawks supporters will know more about their own players.

Keep an eye on:

2 - Zach Tuohy, see how he goes being pretty much our No.1 attacking ball user bringing it out of defensive 50.

3 - Brandon Parfitt, most likely of our most recent draftees to debut in 2017. Doing everything right on track. Will mostly play forward with a bit of middle.

5 - Nakia Cockatoo, in his 3rd season now. See how much time he spends in midfield. Think he will play more in there this year.

11 - Darcy Lang, in 4th season now. Same as Cockatoo see how much he plays in middle.

23 - Aaron Black, new club, only $137K, could play 2nd or 3rd forward. See if he can get on the end of a few.

31 - Jordan Cunico, 3rd season, injury prone though finally had full pre season. Look for him as rookie later in year could replace Mackie as he slows down in his final season.

32 - Steven Motlop, can he actually run for more than 1min without needing a rest on bench?

38 - Jack Henry, first season, taken in rookie draft, must've shown something to be in squad over others.

39 - Zach Guthrie, exact same as Henry, rookie draft in first season, no muscle on him, though must've shown something to be in squad.

40 - Jackson Thurlow, main guy I'll be looking forward to watching. Returning from ACL, looks in ripping nick. Massive talent.

44 - Tom Stewart, mature age recruit, sounds like he could play in seniors straight away, Scarlett loves him. Cheap as.

No need to mention Danger obviously lock. Few others I'll be looking at but they're more for seeing how they've develop as footy players over actual SuperCoach prospects.

Wonder why he didn't develop the way he would have been expected to? Did the recruiters just get it wrong or has he not worked hard enough? He was a number 4 draft pick back in 2011. At that price will definitely keep a close eye on the last two preseason games.
